Oh yeah, I remember people discussing which cars are the best, what times they get etc in free practice last time. This is just me but i think people should maybe keep that for themselves. It's touching that everyone works together ofc but purpose of free practice i think is figuring out for yourself what you like most, not having the top guys tell you whats fastest and then pick that just a suggestion from my side

Ganjalo sorry for being so late with this but I might not be able to join in time for the practise. I would like to know what time the actual race is starting so I can estimate wether or not I'll be in time This is just what i know: OP says you need to be there from qualifying on. Free practice is 20min~ so i'd assume qualifying somewhere around 6:25-6:30 if everything goes smoothly. In his announcement for this cup he says players need to be there for every trial so idk if you need to be there for practice now as well. I'm so dumb I just realised I have to ad 2 more hours since my timezone is CET lol... I'll be perfectly fine with the time now and I'll be on time

Sure, phyxsius . thekillswitchhh , glad to see you can make it in time. Stocking's right, you can still join between the free practice and the qualifying. I don't consider the free practice a proper trial. That might be good news for you jeffreyb1990 . :) Oh yeah, I remember people discussing which cars are the best, what times they get etc in free practice last time. This is just me but i think people should maybe keep that for themselves. It's touching that everyone works together ofc but purpose of free practice i think is figuring out for yourself what you like most, not having the top guys tell you whats fastest and then pick that :P just a suggestion from my side I'll add that the free practice is meant to be a time of sharing, so I encourage drivers to share their feelings about the cars, while still keeping in mind that everyone has its preferences in terms of driving style. The cars should be very close this time again. Edit : No problem Divait, thanks for the heads up. :)

It was very very good overall. Races were very clean and I feel everyone was respectful. I am looking forward to the next rendition.
But just a small request -- if you do pits next time could the wrenches be after the bumps? Once I got damage coming out of it, I know, I should've been careful, but it seems the car does take a bit of damage (depending on the car) on the final bump.
Regardless, thank you Ganjalo

Another fierce battle for the Cup yesterday, congratulations to the winners! Winner of the Cup on his first appearance, one of SATCC's favorites, driver #990 fab. ICEMAN in his Übermacht Oracle, a good pick, presumably the fastest car on the track. In second position, after missing the podium by little in the first Cup, number 48 st0cking and her Ocelot F620. Earning the bronze medal, keeping his pole position in the all-time leaderboard, the previous Cup's winner, #17 @novesori in the F620. Last but not least, another racer achieving his goal, #208 ITheDictator (Racing_Disaster) (Racing_Disaster) finishing in last position as he aimed for! The fastest man on the track was a girl, with driver #48 St0cking pushing the F620 to a 1:07.133 lap time in the final race. In the Oracle, #990 fab.ICEMAN managed to get a 1:07.533 lap. The Lampadati Felon GT seemed a bit harder to drive in a race situation, with driver #185 lodus (@nommasch) only getting a best lap time of 1:08.694. Nobody got close to the track record set by the Cup's Stig, #000 arken doing 1:06.492 in testing with the Oracle. Mirror Park Cup winners
1st. fab. ICEMAN : 1x 2nd. st0cking : 1x 3rd. @novesori : 1x All-time leaderboard
1st. @novesori : 1x 1x 2nd. fab. ICEMAN : 1x 3rd. Madderose : 1x 3rd. st0cking : 1x 4th. Oh_Darn : 1x -- Since we've done this two months in a row (actually three with the beta-cup), I can now call this event a monthly event! I'll rework some stuff to make things clearer for everyone. There's still some minor issues here and there but I'm very happy overall, so I thank you all for participating and being patient with me. I look forward to seeing you in the next edition, which I'm sure will only be better. :) I'm quite proud when I see how the first corners in my event are so clean that they look staged :p Random corner in TBT : vid.me/smPjFirst corner in SC : vid.me/7THYTagging everyone

Oh, yeah, this has been the subjet of rightful complaining, I won't use speed bumps next time. I really liked that idea but it's hard to find the right balance with drivers wanting to drive as fast as they can through the pits, LMAO bumps, and not being really able to test the track in real racing situation beforehand. Hertz has a point about the bumps being too rough on this track and maybe causing damage, I had to elevate them because otherwise you could really just jump through the pits at full speed and avoid the 2nd and 3rd bump. For the rest, if you crashed in the pits, you were being too greedy and tried to go too fast, you can only blame yourself. The bumps are the same for everyone. Now what I found, thanks to one of the new SATCC's tracks, and to be honest it kinda hurts me I didn't thought about it earlier :p is DrKloden's Speed Control Technology™. It works very well and I'll definitely try to implement that in the next track.
