[PS4] Super Sedans Showdown 8:30pm 27th May [COMPLETE]

TBH I am not a big fan of theatrical intro’s that make the event seem like the most epic thing ever created so this is probably gonna sound a little dull.

Anyway the other day I did my first event ever and I had lots of fun! It was really cool being in a 24 man lobby with guys that are all very competitive and knew what they were doing and thanks to jt33396 for putting it on. The only thing that was bad (IMO) was that a there was a huge pace gap between the slowest and fastest cars which meant only about 25% of the field had the opportunity to win the race by skill, the rest were condemned from the start by having to drive a slower car.

After the event I was inspired to make the most balanced racing event possible while using multiple cars, so here we are and also Yes I know this has been done before by Just Hero .

These three sedans have a 4 tenth pace difference in Broughys testing and are all within around the same time at this circuit with my own testing. They are also very cheap and look great!

You’re now probably wondering (if you didn’t read the poster), what are these cars?

Vapid Fugitive



The fugitive is a very easy car with a very smooth engine and great brakes. It lacks a little in the rear end department because it is deprived of a spoiler and also has very stiff suspension with minimal body roll.
My best lap=2:18.7


Albany Primo



The Primo is the near opposite to the Fugitive, it has a more unpredictable engine but lots of rear grip under acceleration due to the spoiler which balances it out. The only con is it gets very unsettled on the brakes making it more hard to manoeuvre on the entry to corners.
My best lap=2:18.5


Karin Intruder



The Intruder is the middle of these two opposites with average brakes, average engine and average suspension but looks fantastic and puts in very competitive times.
My best lap=2:18.8
It honestly doesn't matter which car you pick; you can still win the race.

Cypress Bumps GP by tompearson is excellently propped with a great layout. Though a little tight, it was one of the only full length track that was tight enough to make the sedans feel like you actually had to throw them around and you weren’t holding them flat out for like 30 seconds. I am still a bit unsure whether this track will be wide enough to hold 27 player action so I am open to suggestion if people hate it too much.

Class: Sedans

Car: Fugitive, Primo, Intruder

Customs: ON

Restricted Modifications: Tuner or Sport wheels only, not that it makes a difference for these cars I just want them to look legit.

Laps: 1 warm up lap and 22 racelaps

Time: Noon (I hate night racing)

Weather: Current

(NEW) Qualifying: There will be a 3 lap non contact qualifying session based on fastest lap, after this finishes I will take screen shots of the results. Everyone will hit replay and I will then set the lobby up for the race

Start Procedure: I will grid everyone up in there qualifying positions. Any random or late entrys (only If we have spare space) will start at the back. Race will start with a sticky let off by myself (promise I won’t cheat.)

(NEW) Pit stops: There will be 2 pit stops where you go in and out of the pits with no waiting. The pit watcher will be zachybaba . If there are reports of players not pitting then they will get a big fat DQ.

Other rules: Blue flag is on, no respawning unless you are completely stuck and regular NoDo rules apply.



!!!If more than half the field DC’s there will be a restart with the same number of laps remaining, all DCed drivers will get a start penalty of half the main straight. It would be very helpful if all drivers stayed in gamechat so in the event of this procedure we can do it easily!!!
