I don't think championship events should just move to the next day if the original date can't be made.
It should be pushed forward a week, because if you move one race to a different day it might conflict with other events.

And to be fair, if the host doesn't want to, there's no demanding an explanation from them as to why it's postponed. A heads up before time is all that should be expected from them really.
Changing the date/time is a bit different though, don't do that.

If more than half of the racers can't make the sunday race i'll move it forward to next week. sent out a mass message to all the racers via xbox

From now on races will be on Wednesdays. Starting again on the 13th at 6 pm UTC time. sorry to everyone for all the confusion. this will be the final change for the dates
