Woooo, BeekerSheepe at second! I'm kinda pissed at the fact of dropping 1 score, it goes against my consistency racing style I think I would have been third, wouldn't I? Damn, I never got a podium before edit: wait how is this point system supposed to encourage consistency

Damn, I never got a podium before edit: wait how is this point system supposed to encourage consistency The consistency part mainly comes from there being such small difference between places. For example in many events people after p10 don't score points at all. I would like a better solution but DCs happen so I always tend to drop one score. Unfortunately no solution is perfect. Yeah, but you could have won the podium, and I kind of feel sorry for not rewarding you with a podium place. However, I still believe that this does encourage consistency while getting "DC noise" out of the result as long as there are enough number of races. I would be interested in any other solution if there's a better one. Meanwhile, I did notice this trend so next SCE's point system will be very different. I think less than 4 races is where you have to kind of let live with the DCs. I learned it from this event, so it won't happen again. Apologies again. I will come up with a better solution for the next time.

I think the big thing is the drop a DC thing doesen't do well with smaller amount of race and if they are all on 1 day Le mans, MCEC, SATC are big events with lots of races spanning across lots of weeks. People don't have time for all of the days and its hard to have like 10 perfect races. Well I guess I just have an 'underdog going on an adventure to success' story where I'm close all the time

Yeah I'd agree with you. If there are future SCEs (well, in fact SCE3) with less than 5 races I will probably count all races.

When I was in the 3rd race pitwatching and inputting the scores, I realized with a big "oops."

Yeah. Same with me. Sorry for not showing up, I have some severe performance/stability issues with my game so I had to abandon the event right before the start. Anyways, hope it was fun for all who participated
