(PC) SCE2: Stock Compacts Endurance June 4 7PM (complete)

Few days go until the event. Singups are REQUIRED to read the following carefully, please.

Team summaries: Not doing the team summaries since... I have no time for the writeup. You are required to be hyped using just the graphics in the first post. All drivers are encouraged to communicate to respective team owners if they do not have access to right colours.

Pre-Lobby procedure: I will boot up playlist of all the tracks. Everyone will pick whatever car and do one lap going into the pits. Remember that this is not a race. This is to familiarize yourself with the track and to avoid incidents later on. We will be doing only 1 lap each of the tracks.

Qualifying procedure: qualifying is 8 laps. We will have a rolling start then everyone can go. The track is small so you will see other cars but having 8 laps give you enough of opportunity to set the laps. Just remember to stick to your line and show your natural pace. You can pick any car you want out of 4 event cars, but keep in mind that the car used in qualifying cannot be used for the main races.

Main race procedure: there is one pit stop each. For first race you will call out your pits or type that you are in pit via text chat. For race 2 and race 3 you will have pitwatchers. They will release you from the pits. Grid orders are determined by the qualifying.

Penalties are as follows regarding pit stops:
Penalty for missed pit stop = pit stop time assessed by officials + one place applied after adding time and reassessing finishing position
Penalty for leaving the pit early = estimated time gained by the driver * 2

Car choice: as emphasized your car choice must be different. If you choose same car twice one of the results will be dropped -- if you choose the same car as in qualifying especially, then for that race you will be given worst "DNS" treatment over your qualifying. So don't. If issues occur and many people could not get the right car we may attempt a restart. But not more than that.

As you may know we have excellent events hosted by first-time hosts: The Comet Cup by Prismide , and The Mario Kart 100cc Cup by EDDI2142 . They are good complements to events such as this one, and The Mario Kart event in particular will take place for 4 weeks after SCE2 beginning next week (in exact same timespot as this event) for people who want more slower car action and will hopefully carry the spirit of SCE! I highly encourage everyone to check them out and sign up.
