Race Information
Format: Just like every triathlon race this one consists of three parts as well. The race will be Point-to-point with cycling being part one, swimming part two and running last.
Track: The track will not be announced in advance. I will send the R*SC link to the comissioners in a private message. Of course it's not really hard to find the track on Social Club anyway but I highly recommend not to. This is supposed to be a no-tryhard fun event and most of the fun will come from racing an unknown track and not knowing what's coming. Do not play the track before the event as you'd ruin the whole experience for yourself and potentially for others. Thank you!
Host: My name is Martin and I will be your host. Add me to friends soon enough so I can send you the invite when the time comes. Social Club profile: martindurin
Time: Noon
Weather: Clear
Race Length: approx. 10 minutes
Class: Cycles – Race Bike
Race Type: GTA
Number of contestants: 29 maximum
Shoutout: I would like to thank detoxx for this idea.

Pre-lobby: 4:00 PM (UTC)
Race lobby: 4:20 PM (UTC)
Race start: 4:30 PM (UTC)
Event end: 4:45 (UTC)
Rules
1. The race will be carried out in GTA mode. The reason is that you need to be able to get off your bike and swim (and run). That doesn't mean you can randomly pop somebody. You are not allowed to attack anybody, not even melee. Weapons are absolutely not allowed! Pushing (not punching) others is allowed as well as crashing into them with a bike but be mindful that this may result in you falling off as well.
2. Once you reach the swimming part marked by a START gate you must abandon your bike and never use it again. After you finish swimming and start the running part (again marked by a START gate) you are forbidden to use a bike. If you feel the need to respawn during the running part you will be respawned with your bike. You must ditch the bike and continue the race on foot! Nobody is then allowed to use that bike.
3. Do not try to find shortcuts. Be fair and follow the checkpoints and signs on the track.
4. You must follow the Community guidelines with an exception stated in (1.) and (3.)
5. You must connect to NoDo's teamspeak channel and join the room in which the host (martindurin) is present during the pre-lobby. You don't need to speak but you must be able to hear. See below for TS info.
6. A sports outfit is recommended. Do not bring any fancy expensive clothes as you will sweat and you'll get wet and then you'll sweat again. You don't want to ruin your Le Chien t-shirt, do you?
7. This is a fun event. Leave your saltiness and rage behind and enjoy yourself. Yes, that is a rule as well.

Bicycles
The race is locked to the Race Bike (all manufacturers available so choose whichever colour matches your socks) as it's the quickest of all. If you've never ridden a bicycle before I suggest you try it out before the race to familiarize yourself with the mechanics: usage of front/rear brakes, sprint, lean forward etc.
