I watched Kaleeb42 's stream of this race. Forever alone. I couldnt figure out why GalantEvo was there. Wasnt this an event he hosted ? Why didnt he race ? I saw him do the grid and start and thats about it. The lack of respect for faster GT's lapping is astounding. No communication of postion, no car honking till right up the arse of car in front, wanting to lap traffic in stupid places. You'd think after all these races most have done this wouldnt be an issue,,but sadly it still is. Just my perspective lookin in.. i remember passing him once where i honked after the pass as a thank you gesture since he left the inside open so wide, only after did he say in ts he had no idea i was there and wanted me to honk earlier.. i mean, its not really easy to know half the time, sometimes the lines slower gts take make it seem as if they know i get the whole better safe than sorry thing, but sometimes you literally catch up to people so fast in a series of turns and honking while turning on a gamepad can be kinda iffy. eh, i did my best atleast. with this experience ill hopefully do better next time im in a faster class car than the rest of the field

not to mention that the nature of the track turned inexperienced drivers into moving walls

Things I learnt from this event:Don't try to go to bed at 1 am, wake up at 4:30 am to do an event and expect to go well. Don't down a redbull too fast or your stomach will be upsetti spahgetti. Do more than 20 laps practice. You can never choke too much. How to go from winning by 10 seconds to 1 minute behind first place in the space of 7 laps. How to unintentionally fuck up GT1 drivers (sorry Eva ). When to give up. People like to talk shit on girls (sorry again Eva ). People don't like text chat. People don't like voice chat. People don't like flairs.
People don't like fireworks.
People don't like gun noises.
People are salty.GalantEvo doesn't like me. No-one likes me. Oval racing shits all over this. When to give into the crippling depression and drink some bleach.
Should have drove the CarboNAZI:

Right... Well. Thanks for the event. Looks like I was way off the pace. I hadn't looked at every page in this thread so I just remembered that early post that said 1:40.9 was a good time in GT1. Didn't realize things changed. Oh well. Had a good first couple of laps before I started running into GT4 drivers and having trouble passing. After that it was choke city for a handful of laps before things became more stable again (though still with the occasional accident). During the race I thought that the leaders were winning solely because they were having 0 incidents. Only once I got the message that I was getting lapped by StoryVS did I realize that I must be just really slow. Had a good battle for a few laps with doompenguin . Was fun. Gg wp -Eva

To be honest I was excpecting something really worst than that. For that track the race was pretty "clean". We all knew that the problems was going to be the blue flags, with 4 differents classes on a short track like this one. GT1 was lapping someone in 95% of the laps. As doompenguin and Sarah said, sometimes it's really difficult to inform for a blue flag, especially on this track with many technical corner and tight places. And when you're lapping one or two cars per lap, in 40 laps, it's really hard to stay focus on your race, and honk for everyone. I personally did it as soon as I could but most of the time you cannot predict that, it's coming really fast that you can just honk behind the car and waiting for a clean blue flag in the next seconds. Then it's easier for the lapped cars to control the blue flags than the lapping cars, because, obviously GT1 is lapping more cars than the lower class is beeing lapped. You know who is supposing to be behind you, so if someone else is about to overtaking you, or pushing the gap faster than normally, you can guess that it's a blue flag, and take the good line for a safe and clean overtake. (giving the curb boost, going wild in a corner, beeing clear about what line you're giving and what line you gonna pick). Because when a crash is happening it's always due to a lack of understanding between both drivers. When you're about to lap someone, if he's zigzagging or keeping the racing lines without mooving or slowing down, we can not just stay behind and loose 5s for free, you do a moove, like if it was a normal overtake, and as we all know, sometime it can finish in a crash. I did recorded my race, I'm gonna keep it for some days, I'll probably use it for a blue flags compilation/tutorial, but don't forget guys, that for that track and that race (classes) we did very good and it could have been really worse than that. GG everyone. GalantEvo Are you gonna do a recap of the race ? with the points of teams/drivers. To add this to the Sprunk prize list (http://nodo.freeforums.net/thread/6394/sprunk-team-racing) Thank you in advance.. ! EvaIt is not my habit to post my lap before the race but I hope it can help you guys !

All my thinking in the race was 'Why did I pick the zentorno, especially with all these experienced drivers... Also I really want to play Witcher 3 right now' As I got second place in the last and the fact I already 'had' a zentorno I just pickd zentorno. But then I sold the zentorno without realizing I still need it, and the fact the track of the first event and this track are literally the opposite and more experienced drivers signed up for GT1 and the fact @eva did not accidently oversleep this event (atleast I think it was that event) Speaking of Eva, on that bridge where you go down I hit something in the middle of the bridge, fucking flew in the air and did a frontflip then landed, tried to stay still so its easier for you to predict but you crashed into me anyway, so sorry about that Also Sarah the pole that absolutely rekt you in the last corner in the middle off the race was my fault. Just looked behind and saw you flying and died of laughter. Then I remembered that I should have waited for that, even though I was a lap behind anyway Kinda ashamed by the fact I causes too many problems and at the end didn't even manage to care enough. Although I did quit at the end only because I was on top of someone's garden... then again I didn't really try to do that corner well... Also sorry Kaleeb42 if my retardedness made you lose time lol
