I tried ehis in 4 public sessions and didnt manage to dupe anything I get to step 9 but no duplicate spawns. Does it have to be done in a specific place? I did it with the 2 garages and the LS customs next to the airport Had a similar issue today, it worked fine in the 5th lobby though...I think it only works in nearly full lobbies, everytime it worked for me there were 25+ players in the lobby

You should eventually find one where it works.

Can't get the bypass glitch to work. I'm either too fast unplugging and it doesn't register that I've sold the car, or I'm too slow and the 48min timer is normal. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, is there a trick to it?

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, is there a trick to it? I've had problems with it too. I'm not sure if I should be expecting a somewhat instant disconnect (max 5 seconds or so?) but the game keeps flowing, and It doesn't even send me to singleplayer either, only after a while, of course.

If you plug it back before that, the game might save, which you don't want. I'll update the post and put this in there.

I can't get past step 5. Whenever I get sucked in the garage and then exit the garage the car is not there.
EDIT: Nevermind. I just duped 11 fully upgraded Sentinels. Thanks!
EDIT2: 23
EDIT3: Another observation. You don't need to find a nearly full session. You just need to find the perfect session. Then you can employ the "5 second disconnect and reconnect to empty public session" method and continue duping alone in the session and it works.
EDIT4: So after I figured out the correct way of doing this I spent about 2 hours duping and then selling. In those 2 hours I made a little bit over $4m. I'd say this is pretty great. Just hope Rockstar doesn't find out. We just need to hope that none of the big youtubers find this and exploit it in a video.

Given that this method has been public since not long after the CEO update, I'd be shocked if they don't already know, given that it doesn't work in every session it's more likely to me that they simply haven't found a reliable way to stop it if they even can.
For the people having issues with selling - this is how I've been selling Dubsta2's since I got one before anyone asks - once you leave LSC and see the +$xxx in the top right, disconnect, then manually select to go to single player from the character select wheel, you'll get a "Files couldn't be downloaded" error which you can click through, then while loading into SP you'll get a notification that you're disconnected from RSC services, once you can pause SP, reconnect and join back online. Since you're going to SP anyway this is the fastest method. Dependant on your system this can be done in 15-20 seconds from selling to being back in a private lobby, but will likely take 25-30. Using that method I can clear 3 full garages of Dubsta2's netting ~700k in 30 minutes or less of selling time (legitimate spawning obviously takes far longer though).
Given the above Dubsta2 sale-rate, dependant on access to all upgrades that add value, the right garage locations, enough space in them, luck with spawns, hardware limitations (speed of game-loading/network reconnection etc), one can surmise that using this dupe method theoretically the absolute upper limit is around $7-7.5mil/hr, but most people wont be clearing out garage space to allow for that, so $5.5-6mil/hr is a more reasonable estimate given a minute per car-sale and potential spawn time.
I made my position known earlier in the thread, so I wont re-iterate it here, I will however say I don't mind discussion of a more theoretical nature.

Well too bad since my router needs like 5 minutes on average to fully restart.
One thing I wanted to ask, vehicles that were already stored in garage can be duped again or no?

Why are you restarting your router? you just have to disconnect the device you're playing GTA on.

So, if I understand this correctly, the upgraded car will only last you as long as you have free garage space, right? Cuz then you'll have to sell/discard it, cuz you can't put a tracker on it (unless you wana keep it, of course). So this is only worth it if you have several free garage spaces, as you need to cover the initial investment into the original vehicle. Right?

It depends of how much upgrades cost (I am assuming about 300k?) but generally yes.

EDIT3: Another observation. You don't need to find a nearly full session. You just need to find the perfect session. What exactly is the perfect session? The one that works and duplicates cars. You might be using "Find New Session" a few times before you find a working one. Well too bad since my router needs like 5 minutes on average to fully restart. One thing I wanted to ask, vehicles that were already stored in garage can be duped again or no? My computer is on the ground and my router is in another room so there is no option of disconnecting the cable for me. What I do is that I sell the car, wait for the screen to start turning black and when it does I immediately Alt+Tab to desktop, open-up connections in the toolbar and disconnect from my wireless network. Then I wait for GTA:O to fail and when it does it's safe to reconnect again, retry connection to SC and start an invite only session. Works every time.

I just tried disconnecting after quitting LSC and it didn't work for me to reset cooldown. But I didn't wait to be "kicked" from online mode, I just went to sp immediately. Tho. it shouldn't matter since connection is stopped anyway?

Tho. it shouldn't matter since connection is stopped anyway? I don't know. You should better wait until you get the disconnect because then it fails to save your progress (vehicle cooldown) but keeps the money which then get added after you re-estabilish connection.
