I should try this and because I play on a laptop I can just use airplane mode to disconnect, I think. Depends on the delay of the airplane mode. If it takes a few seconds to disconnect everything you might have trouble with that. |

It's probably not slower than pulling out a cable. |

I was wondering, how about shutting down GTA5 to reset timer, instead of disconnecting? It takes more time to load it back up whereas disconnecting and reconnecting takes only up to a minute. Anyway, I am not sure if this would work because by disconnecting you're letting the game figure out that the connection was lost and that it's supposed to add you the money after the connection is re-estabilished. By hard quitting the game the money could get lost and/or the car sale might not proceed. |

D= I waited and I still get the message about being unable to save PLUS it doesn't seem to kick you back to single player if you wait too long. I think I might just pull it out whenever I exit LSC and just deal with the not being able to save message. =\

Im a non steam PC player too and just pulling the cable out of the pc works fine. Then just wait until the message pops, dismiss it, go to SP, reconnect to RSC and go sell another car. Easy as pie. |

The Schwartzer I used, sold for roughly 175k. However, I didn't use a special colour scheme.
I can confirm that the Sentinel XS sells for roughly 195k.

There you can see the timing that works for me. If measured then anything between 3 and 5 seconds from the point when the screen inside LSC starts to black out should work. |

If you disconnected from your network and were still connected to online, then my bet is you also have wifi and your system switched to it when you pulled the cable, it's physically impossible to be connected and playing online if you don't have an active network connection.

Finally I succeeded in both glitches:) From my experience it worked better when calling Simeon/Gerald for a mission and accepting it making sure that the car will be moving until the mission setup screen shows up, and also important that the car does not end up blocking a road or something because that way the car is more likely to disappear. For the cooldown glitch I unplug the router cable when I see the money adding to my account in green, that way worked perfectly for me ^^
