I was a maybe actually, bcause I didn't know if I could make every race, and I'm not sure if i can make this one. So put me down as a reserve pls. That's cool, let me know closer to the race whether you're able to make it or not mate.

Sad to say, I'm not gonna be able to make it to todays race. My apologies.

I highly recommend changing current weather in this event because unless someone is being untruthful about their pits it is pretty obvious that they had much less rain than everyone else. a good 3/4 laps less if I was gonna guess. sorry for getting mad but it is pretty obvious this happened because a 40 second gap in the space of 4 laps seems pretty impossible otherwise

Dzui can guarantee I did do my pits, and at least one person went past me on each time I did each pit as well. I couldn't record them as the first one I forgot but just before the second one I remembered my guide button messed up again where it takes over a minute for it to recognise I've pressed it.
My rain started late, which we were confused about, but also ended late which is how Blaze did actually catch up at the end. There was a bigger gap than there what is was at the finish line.
Don't know why he can't understand I was faster than him in the wet. I think him saying it was by that extent is a bit much, but I don't know myself not looking at times to others in the race.

I'm just going to chime in and give my two cents on last night's race, since I got a bunch of DM's about this on Slack: Regarding the mandatory pit-stops: If the championship requires that you records your pit-stops, Dzui is in his right to deduct points or give some other form of punishment when you failed to do so. I do however advise getting someone to be a pit-marshall for the remainder of the races. If nobody else is available, send me a DM on slack on Friday and I should be able to do that most of the time. I'm usually too tired to race on Friday evenings, but I'm sure I could handle watching pit-stops... Regarding the weather: Current weather in GTA is bugged. We all know that. It's been bugged like that for ages and that's probably going to stay that way. You can't blame a player if they encounter buggy weather while the rest don't. I'd recommend simply not using current weather anymore and choose rain races using a weighed randomizer system (just like Broughy did in MCEC). Or just use noon / clear, which is the most stable way to race in GTA on Xbox .

I don't believe that it rained much at all for you if I am honest, you made a 25 second gap on me stupidly quickly after your overtake on me and if it did rain afterwards me only gaining 3 seconds a lap sounds highly impossible. Like pretty sure fast rain laptimes are about 2:01s and if it was apparently raining for you when I was catching up in the dry you must of been hitting 55/54s in the rain..

Or just use noon / clear, which is the most stable way to race in GTA on Xbox . Pit-stops: At the same time I loaded the pre-lobby I found out our designated pit watch wasn't available. We so far struggled to even have enough participants never mind to find someone else who could pit watch therefore simply having as many drivers as possible was the priority. As an alternative to finding a pit watch myself and DV8R agreed that two mandatory pits must still be completed under the 'gentleman's agreement' that everyone will take their two. I then also made it clear that recording your pits was optional, purely so that if you are accused you have proof of your pit. It was not a mandatory requirement to record the pit and 9 times out of 10 it was quite clear to see when someone had pit if they had not already told everyone through the party. Weather: Current weather is a tricky one. It certainly isn't perfect and therefore it can always be a safe bet to simply have a set time/weather before each race. This is however the first race I've ever been a part of where Current Weather has bugged, just a shame that it looks as though it may hold large repercussions. Whether this is changed for the next race will be decided. Regarding the race situation with the weather, obviously nothing can change the outcome nor the circumstances. However, if everyone shared a mutual form of communication for the race a lot of the discussions carried on here wouldn't be taking place. Given the small amount of participants we decided to have all drivers in the same party for communication purposes. KingBlazeIV because you didn't join the party you couldn't contribute to mine and DV8R's discussion when the rain started and ended as both of us identified that there had been an issue, therefore there was no way of us knowing you were also experiencing an issue.

Regardless of where you came I'm still really grateful that you decided to jump in on the race. At one point we only had 3 sign-ups ready to race it appeared.

sorry to chime in but apparently smashing cars with melee weapons is enough to get a telling off, where's the fun?

sorry to chime in but apparently smashing cars with melee weapons is enough to get a telling off, where's the fun? Because we're not here to have fun. We're here to driver cars in dramatic circles. But on a serious note, smashing up cars can get you a wanted level I believe, not to mention the fact that it's just annoying to hear the sound effects when it's literally happening next to the meeting point.

I fail to see how it is fun. Also those cars being in the pre-race area were kinda pointless. As Dzui says its annoying to hear it and off-putting while us two are trying to keep track of who is online and needs invites. The meet-up is to bring your car that you will be using for the race. If you don't own the car for the race then just bring any other car of yours. What is hard about not being childish and just sitting still for a few moments?
