Atomic Tires Brioso R/A Cup
IntroductionWelcome to what is the first event hosted by myself since I made the decision to build a PC and move here full time, this event have been inspired by the real life racing series called the Renault Clio Cup. Yes that’s right, it’s time to give the Brioso R/A the real test of racing ability. This car will really look the part on the grid on race day when we have numerous race ready vehicles prepared for 20 minutes of adrenaline fueled and intense racing on proper racing circuits that will be made especially for the event.
The Car
As mentioned in the previous segment of the thread the car that will be used is the only car made by Grotti that isn’t a high end exotic, the Brioso R/A.
Exhibit A: Pictured below is an in game example of the Brioso R/A
Exhibit B: Pictured below is a real life variant of the Brioso R/A, the Fiat 500 Abarth
The Brioso R/A as of the 24/07/2016 is the fastest car in the Compacts class in Grand Theft Auto 5 and was added into the game after the “Cunning Stunts” DLC. It has a few characteristics that I have stumbled upon while driving this car on both the Xbox One and PC editions of the game. One example of a driving characteristic of this car is that it has notoriously bad or bad feeling brakes as they can feel a bit vague while under heavy usage in both racing a casual driving situations respectively, I personally have only around an hour of driving time with this car but I have found it to be quite enjoyable when it is taken away from the rough and bumpy area of the map known as the city. Another example of a driving characteristic which is not unique to this car is the sometimes unexpected situation of the car almost two wheeling or sometimes even two wheeling to the extent of almost rolling, however I have never got this car to go wheels up so hopefully this situation won’t occur during any of the planned races.
^^ Thanks to Jonnhy for a great example XD ^^
The restrictions
As the event is "sponsored" by Atomic Tires themselves they have supplied the event with as many sets of Atomic high spec race tires for us, so please MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE CUSTOM TIRES on your Brioso. There will be no further restrictions on the cars apart from NO OFF ROAD WHEELS.
The Venues
1)San Chianski Club Circuit: A new track made by myself especially for this event, after a fair amount of test laps and a few refinements here and there, I have taken the original that I made months back now it seems and remade it on PC with the new creator. It is around a 1:30 lap and can be quite technical.
2)Fort Zencudo: This is the first track in the event that isn’t a real life track being re immersed in the video game world, this track as you can guess via the title is a Fort Zancudo based racing circuit that at first wouldn’t sound a decent amount interesting, but this little gem of a track is an interesting, engaging and exciting track that can challenge the drivers even though it is in the flat plains of Fort Zancudo. A small showcase video of an older edition of the track can be found here: youtu.be/Nz8PQ9HAsYc
3)Circuit de Catalunya: This legendary piece of Spanish history was first created back in 1991 and has featured many major events such as the Formula One Spanish Grand Prix and GP2. In fact the Spanish Grand Prix was hosted on the Circuit de Catalunya within the same year it was built. This track is seen as a good all round track that challenges all aspects of the car equally. This track can be located in Montmelo, Spain or here on Rockstar social club.
4)Sandy Cup Circuit: This track is made by our very own lewjen (smithyonetwelve) and is another new creator update track, it is an enjoyable trackin Sandy Shores that can test your abilities in the Brioso. With a nice selection of props this is a track that you could say is aestecially pleasing but others may disagree.
5)Grotti F1 Peckerwood: You should probably know what this is by now.

The Length
After some decent time spent while pondering upon how long the event should last and I have found a baseline event schedule to try and stick by if we are running on time.
- Initial meet up: 20 minutes = 19:00 UTC
- Qualifying: 10 minutes
- Race One: 20 minutes
- Race Two: 20 minutes
I have also decided that we do the same track for each week, so there will be no need to do practice for 2 tracks at a time.
The Rules
In this event standard NoDo racing rules apply as per usual in events. However there are some extras that I must have to add,
- Any killing in the pre or racing lobbies is not acceptable under any circumstances and will result in a penalty.
- Any incidents that are deliberately caused will result in a penalty.
- I recommend completing a few of the welcome to NoDo weekly playlist races to get used to the feel of racing with others.
- Teamspeak 3 is mandatory even if you can’t talk, you must be able to hear others in the event

~Password: nodo
- The maximum FPS you are allowed to run in this event is 60
- No Curb boosting on Stunt Track roads' rumble strips, being caught will result in you having to take a mandatory pit for every time you are caught no matter how many times it happens. repeatedly doing this will result in you being penalised in a harsher form.
The Teams
There will be 2 factory teams in this event, then the rest of the teams are open to choose as long as they are an in game sponsor from any GTA series game. We can have up to 30 sign ups so there are 15 teams of 2.
