Ok gais MERE HOURS DAYS til the pre-season test. I still need sponsors from ovivoJR Dnl_Jackson / Oh_Darn Lawson40 and mountainged and positivetension. Grids will come shortly, and will emphasise trying to stage battles across car platforms so you can get some valuable data from it. Don't worry about pace, worry about overtaking different cars than yours. Safety cars will be called twice per race to help practice restarts, and manage anyone who goes a bit too far ahead. As some may be aware, FriendlyBaron has had to withdraw from the event. He'll be replaced by fellow Murican, Casper. The LSPD thanks Baron for his service. The Strategy Group for Season 5 will be formed today, formally. Participants are: OvivoJR DNL_Jackson fab.ICECREAM Endersigh Oh_Darn (TBC) BIGGamerer and The_Bad_Loser The group will help adjudicate any disputes on track and any concerns about track safety that get raised in the thread. It helps to have this to form quick and decisive views on SAGTC related matters that might get bogged down in a thread. In the event you want something discussed or raised in Strategy Group, you also know who you can contact. Based on some pre-pre-season testing I think we're in for a very interesting set of races. No one car will be dominant, though the 9F is probably on the cards for consistency's sake. My very strong wish this season is to not be taken out by lag on the first lap to see a new champion crowned, and to have a different constructor's champion from the driver's champion. If you have any questions before we kick off on Friday, now is the time to raise 'em. |
