I think you romanticize it a little bit  I like the old triology more too but that doesn't mean the new one is shit. But I agree with that there were several shitty things, for example this annoying dumbass jar jar. |

Star Wars, Return Of The Jedi and Empire Strikes Back is all you need. F**K the rest,, all shit in my opinion. I remember seeing Star Wars at a drive in as a double feature with "The Rose". Star Wars was first up,,then us kids had to sleep thru "The Rose" as it was an adult film.. Im so old  |

I have to say that I really like that theory =P But even without that theory I quite like him, probably because I was fairly young when I saw the prequel trilogy and found him an entertaining character. You have to eliminate episode 1 altogether. It truly is bad.
Machete order is the way to go. Watch in this order. IV, V, II, III, VI, VII.
Episode 4 - A New Hope, Episode 5 - Empire Strikes Back, Episode 2 Attack of the Clones, Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith, Episode 6 - Return of the Jedi (aka EWOK WAR!), Episode 7 - The Force Awakens.
Rogue One or any others can be thrown in anywhere.
