For anyone who wants to sing up, it would be great if you had slack aswell so we can easily communicate and plan. I think everyone who signed up so far have slack. There are a lot who made a slack account after this post aswell. Its also a great way to chat with fellow nodo people so what are you waiting for? nrainier Skonehome Benimi
small problem has been found Slack's private message only holds a maximum of 9 people... uh....
We need to takeover a channel lul
I'm aware of the problem and is currently looking into a solution. I've asked the commissioners if it's possible to raise the cap of 9 people for conversations, if not then creating dedicated channel will properly be the best solution. If anyone have any ideas for a solution pls let me now.
It doesn’t look like we’re getting a channel as of right now. For now we’ll have to try and use #glitches-tricks slack channel when we need to let each other now that we’re looking for a team. I’m worried about the majority of the activity on that channel being everything but pac standard related and that people will have notifications turned off because of the constant spam there.
None the less, pls stop using the current old conversation and we’ll try and see how it goes. If it doesn’t work out at all then I’ll have another go at the commissioners about getting a dedicated channel.
Step 1: Create a DM with all people who are willing to host/co-host.
Step 2: Whenever more than one host feels in the mood to heist (or whenever someone feels in the mood to heist and looks for a host) they post in gta-glitches
Step 3: Once a group of less than 10 people has been established they make a DM together
That would be a lot of work to get a couple of guys together for a short period of time. As HiBerg said, this has been discussed.
#glitches-tricks was made specially for Pac.Std. players, because they hijacked a temp channel for it. So most people in there, allready are willing to do Pac.Std. With the latest dupe-glitches being patched, we don't expect a whole lot of activity there.
I'll post the same advise here as I gave on Slack: For now, use #glitches-tricks, and see how that goes. If you want to use a temp channel once a group is formed, you can join any of the available ones. (please leave Temp's after you're done)
Should it really not work for some reason, we'll see if there's another solution.
We're not going to create channels for every single different activity there is in the game. That would become a mess.
Another suggestion: If you're worried about too many notifications, set the channel to only notify on highlights/mentions, and let everybody add a certain (uncommon) word to their highlights. ("pacstd", "PSG", "pacstan", whatever you find easy)
