Brady I'm not a big fan of the dominators being banned, but I understand why. Sign me up for this race, I will be racing Vigero so I'll be at the back enjoying a good drive :kappa:

Taking away the possibility of people racing in a car they haven't raced with or do let race often with if I let it be not banned

This event is a open crew thing so only people new to NODO / racing in general need to do the steps. If I know who someone is then they can join without following said steps.

I have some ideas brewing and would like your guys input.
1) Long hills track race - Sports Cars 2) OHM Race - Coupes or Sports 3) AidsDurance Style Race 4) Proper RallyX Race - Omnis/Tropos 5) Multi-Class Racecars - Tampa/Buffalo on a road course, then Omnis/Tropos on a Rally Route Course. 6) gfred style race (an actual race, just checkpoint wise - long point to point race basically)
Just a few ideas I came up with. When snow comes we are doing a snow rally race for sure. It's something I've always wanted to do and might host a 1v1 Duel Style Tournament on the side when we get snow. (Won't interfere with this series)

What about one week of a 30 minute aidsdurance race and a 30 minute gfred race and reward each race with half the amount of points for a sprint race? You'd have to make a secret gfred race so nobody can prepare strategies before the race Evil and rob made plenty of good aids tracks so that shouldn't be too hard to sort out Maybe Collision Colosseum? (in Dunes of course) If you want to try out the staggered starts tool for OHM I dont think its a good idea, unless you use a track that has similar features as CCGP. #5 sounds great, we should do that, as long as we have a good track for it where the road course and rally course take exactly the same amount of time.

Keep in mind the track if you're doing Buffalo and troops because the Buffalo is an absolute lummox. Really hard to overtake in a tropos because of the size difference

I went back to the OHM Spreadsheet to see what gaps it would spit out, it was mostly the same to what I came up with with my grade 10 math skillz. It's pretty accurate imo, (in terms of what would be needed for it's purpose, to calculate the base gap) I would just have to calculate the time defect really. (In basic terms, it's probably better than what I would do and much faster/efficient) Some tracks may be prone to be different in elevation/straights but mainly if the cars are close enough/don't have OP traction and shit top speed for example, it should be fine tbh.

I've never done OHM, but I like the concept. Muscle is always my preference but Sports is also good. Coupes would be interesting. I've also never done a gfred, but I've seen them.

(Won't interfere with this series) 1) Depends. On a 3-5 minute track like The Great Hills, Chaparral 24h or North Loop sure lets do it, can create some nice racing. On a 8-9 minute track I dont think it is that good. The field could get stretched out too quick imo, could get boring.
2) Yes, definitely. I like the concept since people can pick what they want and theoretically are still competitive. Plus you can make your own time gaps for better balancing. If you already want to test some cars before the race to check out the balancing, hit me up.
3) Nah, doesnt sound tempting to me.
4) Sure, those two cars in a Rally race sounds good. Although they are expensive for some. Could hurt the sign ups by 2-3 people, maybe more, maybe less.
5) Arent these cars too close in terms of pace for a multiclass race? Or am I just missing out on something?
6) No, even though it is a laid back event, this sounds more like a troll race to me. Maybe do it after one of those weekly races as a cooldown thing (obviously no one will score points then).
