Yeah that was actually really great. I'm glad Formula 1 has discovered the 21st century after Bernie.
A great race in many parts, it was nonetheless disheartening for us Red Bull fans. Not only are the Bulls well adrift of the Mercedes/Ferrari battle, but they're adrift after an upgrade.
Monaco might suit them better and hopefully they can not cock up Ricciardo's pit stop this time around.
Good drive from Lewis and Seb, just disappointed Seb didn't win. He deserved it more.

That VSC killed Seb's race.
That family going into the Ferrari garage was one of the coolest things I have seen in 20 plus years of watching. Yeah bernie would never had allowed that.

I'm a Wehrlein fan from now on. He is a fucking beast. I think Mercedes made the wrong decision putting him into a Sauber. Someone will see how good he is, and I don't think he is going to wait for a Mercedes spot for too long.

I think/hope it was tactics. In quali they saw that they got closer, but were in no position to attack Mercedes and Ferrari. So they turned down the engine to get more mileage out of it and have more new engines left after they finally get the update.

Yea when they chose Bottas over Wehrlein, i was like "ur making a massive mistake folks" As a finn i dont like Bottas at all. Less after what he did to Kimi in the first corner yesterday

If it was wrong then the marshals would have penalised him for it. Bottas has driven well for a 2nd class team for years, he's been given a chance at the top. The only other candidate I could think that deserves it more is Hulkenberg. Wehrlein is having a great season so far, but not everyone can jump into a 1st rate car and strut their stuff.

I mean he could have left more room since Kimi was ahead and Max was on the other side of him. Wehrlein, Hulkenberg and Alonso are out-performing their cars and teammates and would love to see them in a faster team next year

He could have, but that would have lost him 3rd place. No love lost in f1, Hamilton and Vettel didn't do it later on in the race, they also didn't have three cars going into that corner with full tanks of petrol and they still collided.

I think Wehrlein didn't get the Mercedes drive as he hadn't been dramatically faster than his team mates last season. The other two examples though are pretty clear cut. Vandoorne at least has the excuses that he is up against quite possibly the best driver on the grid and its his first full season in an unreliable car. Renault's decision to keep Palmer over Magnussen is looking that great so far although there have only been 5 races so far and they have been closer together at other tracks.

Not trying to brag. I would like to share (most of) the pictures and videos I took that weekend.
It was a ton of fun and I chose the perfect grandstand (L) to sit with my dad (the one with a view on the first 2 corners where all the action happened!)Most footage is from free practice and qualifying, since I didn't want to record during the races. I didn't go there to watch the race through my cellphone! Anyways, This is where I sat with my dad. The sun was baking our ass off but atleast it was windy to cool everyone down! here is a link to the images and videos that I uploaded to google drive. drive.google.com/open?id=0B07kk-FpAS-1Vm12UnFEUFc3dTQIf anyone wants to know anything, feel free to ask!

Nice, @firefly. I usually sit at turns 9 and 10 at Melbourne, and at Singapore I was on a straight (I didn't pick the seats ) down near Raffles. Always, guys, ALWAYS sit at a corner if you want to see anything other than a blur.
