Coquette Coastline Clash
An endurance multi-class race with all three Coquette variants!
You do not need to own any of the cars.
Saturday, April 8th, 2017
6PM UTC
There will be ten people in each GT, with 15 seconds between the start of each GT.
Length - The race will be 50 laps, which will be about 1 Hour 15 Minutes when GT2 begins the finish timer.
Pitstops - You must take 3 pitstops during the race. However, you cannot take a pitstop within 10 laps of your previous one. This is to simulate tire and fuel usage, and stops people from bunching all pits at once. So for example, if you pit on lap 15, you cannot pit again until lap 25. You can of course physically pit during that time, but it will not count towards your 3 mandatory pits. The latest lap you can take your first pit is lap 30, and then 40 and 50. Pitting on last lap is okay, but not pitting on first lap. Failing to take all the pitstops or attempting to take them too early will result in a 20 second time penalty (pit stops take about 6 seconds on this track).
FPS cap is a 60 FPS. Current Time, Current Weather (Unless weather is still bugged to Clear only).
Track is Coastline Clash by FriendlyBaron - I wanted a Del Perro track to fit the theme of these cars, but had trouble finding one that worked well with these vehicles. Originally I was going to use Xero Gas Coastline Sprint by CHill but I ended up doing a remake with his original route for this event.
Starting grids will be randomized within a GT, but the average starting position for each team will be the same. So a team may start 1st, 5th, and 9th in their 3 GTs, 1+5+9=15, 15/3 = Average of 5. 2nd+8th+5th = 15, 15/3 = 5. You can read more in detail how that is done here. Starting grids are here.
Vehicles: Coqeutte (Sports), Coquette Blackfin (Muscle), Coqeutte Classic (Sports Classics)
As with most of these PC magic events, signups will be given priority to longtime and/or helpful NODO community members. Final signups will not be locked in for a week or so, you will see a message when they are finalized to know if you are in, with still 3 weeks in advance.
You have a better chance of being given a spot if you signup with your team of 3 already in place. Please include a link to your team's thread when posting.
