Hey y'all! I know a lot of you know me, but I'm sure most of the new people don't. Well I've been here for a while..... Anyway! I don't know how many people in the crew or even on the forums are into Hip Hop/Rap music, but I was encouraged by Regnomo to ask for your help. I am currently writing songs and recording them on Garageband, with the only mic being my computer or occasionally handsfree headphone mics. I would like the good people of NoDo to give me some feedback on what I have done. I only have 2 YouTube videos up, but I have several other songs recorded. Let me know what you think, and be as honest as humanly possible! Thanks humans! I'm a big hip hop fan. I'll listen to your remixes when I get the chance. You'll hear from me

Good stuff rdt33. I can't complain about the content either. The only thing I might recommend would be, since it's written lyrics (I think? Title says freestyle, but description says not freestyle), try switching up the tone and pace to bring some variety into it. Towards the end, I felt like it was a little dry, monotone, and droning on. Other than that, great job though

Another thing is that I'm pretty limited with my recording equipment so I can't push the limits of what I have. Thanks for the advice

I like them raps, but the audio doesnt mix to good with the music. I dont mean that the rap is not suitable with that music/beat but I mean that the audio doenst blend in so good. It's kinda like you are to far away, like in an other hollow room. I hope you understand that feedback at all

Yeah my recording isn't with the best equipment by any stretch of the imagination and my mixing skills are very unpolished. Don't worry about hurting my feelings either because I want to get better. I don't want a pat on the back and a "good job!" Thanks again for the response!

rdt33 If you want any advice with recording and or production hit me up, I've got about 10 years worth of experience in Home Recording and have had to learn the hard way. I mostly use Cubase but have a bit of experience with most audio programs.
