Though i did not finish in the top, but neither all in the back, then it was fun. I still have a lot to improve, but it was nice testing myself against you guys! Thanks for the great welcome to the crew and an amazing race evening! I will for sure join again See ya on the track people o/

Always nice to see new people joining! I'm fairly new myself, but I've experienced a real boost in driving skill since I started racing with these wonderful people in Nodo. Still having some trouble judging my distance on hairpins so we all got our flaws. But certainly there's a good competition amongst all the players and it's nice to see another one! Welcome and see you on the tracks!

There should be a "I lost my NoDo-virginity"-thread, for people to talk about their first experiences with the crew

@jackimo: I remember my first races with nodo. Felt like I was driving a Fieldmaster disguised as an Entity , maybe I'll dig the post I made about that up And we hijack this thread hahaha. I wonder how often that mistake will happen. It's @ jackimo1999. I haven't posted about my first experience racing with NoDo but I distinctly remember giving up halfway through the playlist and going to bed. This was after being lapped on almost every race.

Yes I've edited it you should check out the username for RoyalNightwish though, nobody will ever remember that hahaha. Ontopic again, I also remember DNF-ing almost every time ln the first (short) races I did, but didn't get any BS from anybody for it. Made me love the community right away ArildTDG, would you consider editing the thread title like __Gandhi__ suggested?

My first experience after joining was when some Nodo's joined a lobby I was hosting with randoms and and we had some good races. I got on the 2nd half of a daily playlist and realised how good some(most) of the members are. It was DNF after DNF but I enjoyed it , although being in the pack was making me a bit nervous and probably slowing me down. As the playlists have progressed my goal was to finish the majority of the races and I've pretty much achieved that. My next goal has been to finish in the top half and cross the line before the countdown begin which I've managed a couple of times at least now. When I reached these goals I couldn't help mentioning it on Teamspeak and the response has always been congratulatory. I sense no elitism whatsoever. I'm feeling more comfortable in the pack now and hope my driving keeps improving. I think it will be a long time before I ever win a race (if ever). Middle age dulls the reactions or mine anyway, but I don't really care. I just enjoy the racing

I had done a few races with only two other racers and we had three great races, including me winning one, which needless to say was surprising. But then I joined a muscle car playlist, and while the playlist was very good, I wasn't and did awful. But it was so much fun and the people I was racing with were cool and were just their to have fun, just like I was. I had a great time!

The first race I did with Nodo was a playlist hosted by katenhond2010 - I felt like a mentally challenged kid playing football with a team of professionals as part of a "dreams come true" charity. ChrisDE22 won every single race and everyone else destroyed me handily, I was scared. Fast forward nine months and I just lapped katenhond2010 's ass in an endurance race Proof that racing in Nodo helps. But I still feel like the retarded kid most of the time.

Well mine is along the same line as everyone else's story.
Joined the crew and I thought the best way to get settled in, is to sign up for a crew battle qualifier and man - never had my ass whooped that badly. Finished in the last three about every race (bar one), and Abe, Smithy and Ryan just took turns winning races. It was a very good lesson for me - but anyhow, since - I find myself occasionally in the mix for a win, I am yet to get the better of Smithy or any of the top people in the crew - but I feel I am slowly getting there! For now, it's just mid pack with the occasional top 3 for me...

Few hours ago, I believe it was at a custom Rebel Radio circuit that took place at Sandy Shores, went on highways and all that. I jumped in my Osiris and was the worst time, after finding out that it wasn't fully upgraded. I earned the money from a NoDo 16 race playlist (everyone left after 10 or so) and got enough to buy out all the mechanical upgrades.
Some other NoDo members hosted those huge supercar ramp races which were a pain, because I suck at supercar stunting.
After the Rebel Radio circuit came some other one, forgot the name, but I was eating and forgot to choose a fast sports classic, like the Monroe or Sterling, and accidentally chose the Z-Type.
That thing understeers like a jumbo jet, and I don't know how many times it either spun out, got rammed by another car, or even clipped itself against a telaphone pole, I certainly got the DNF, but that's life,
Few hours later I started getting used to the NoDo ambiance and got in 3rd and 2nd places with my Zentorno.

I personally have enjoyed watching all of the new guys joining the daily racing playlist on PC, and how much they improve over the next few times I see them! You all are doing great and keep up the good work!
For my first experience, I remember hitting the inside barriers a lot. I didn't have control of the car like I should have back then! I also rejoined the track too early also... I still do this after getting hit off the track by others, but that is mainly because my frustration of being wrecked overloads my sense of proper procedure. Still always working this and putting in a better pace.
