I'm terrible with names but it was a couple of NoDo members racing Rodeo Loop and Cutting Coroners over and over and over and over (I get practicing but I eventually just have to quit... ) and over and over. This was the first memorable exposure to the Crew that I had, a short while into my GTA Racing "career". I was abysmal in comparison to them but my time alongside the two NoDos showed me just what this crew is about, which is of course a professional approach to what is usually a frustrating and violent endeavor (Public Lobbies). Racing with The Bad Loser always had a special feeling, like when you climbed the rope in gym class. Interesting analogy, I'm curious to try this now for myself... Sadly, The Bad Loser went from PS3 to PC, and I'm on PS4 now. I have to try harder to join some NoDo events. I have been remiss.

I just had my first NoDo racing experience today, in a playlist that XShediM hosted. I actually managed to finish three of the ten races and not come dead last in the list I'd say my areas needing improvement include hairpins, 90 degree turns, sweeping bends, chicanes, straights, defending, overtaking, braking and accelerating, but other than that, a promising start.

I did my first races with NoDo today. Even if I wasn't able to keep up, and I was badly rear ended on one race and just lost all chances, I had a lot of fun. Sadly, my internet sucks and I was Dc'd pretty often, sigh.

I did my first couple nights of racing with a few of the crew. I thought I could hold my own, boy was I wrong. Ha Ha. They were good racers. I had a wonderful time even though I would come in last. Everyone was nice and helped me out. Note: I didn't get to practice my overtakes though.... because I was about 2 minutes behind. Ha Ha Ha...

That awkward moment when you slam the brakes and everybody else is capable of taking turns at speed or when you don't know how to superboost and wonder how that Entity is off the line faster than your Voltic.
Also when you spin out off a curb and take out the guys behind you and you have to be "that guy" who didn't equip offroad tires.
Or when you compare lap times and the lap you were proud of has been bested by 20+ seconds by everybody else.
It's real fun after the initial destruction of confidence and self esteem. The second wave of existential doubt that comes with racing in NoDo is the funnest part.

I can't remember exactly who I was racing with or the track it was on, but I remember that I was with Tuesdy (can't remember his forum name), a couple of other NoDoers and a few randoms. I was taken aback when someone pushed me into a lamp post and actually waited for me rather than speeding off, and also when I was attempting to take corners as fast as I could and would either take them too slowly or sail into the wall as the others sped by. I knew from watching racing from Broughy, Shaggy, Picano and a few others that I wasn't on the pace, but I still had a good time racing with people who weren't deliberately trying to take me out at every opportunity. Gone are the days of setting Non-Contact to on by default!

Raced one time with one NODO member and a random in a race. NODO guy wrecked me at the finish line lol. Would love to run some races on PS4 with some people here...

If you're havimg trouble finding races, you might wanna give this a read: nodo.freeforums.net/thread/3488/get-started-racingAll pretty straightforward, but still might help you get going.

Actually started up the Formula V playlist and had a few guys from the crew join from the crew invite. Had some great races and I usually finished 1st or 2nd, mostly 2nd lol.

I'll just say the first proper race I ended up in didn't go well. I made a horrible mistake.
