So I finally got around to buying The Taken King expansion a couple weeks ago and I've been hooked and as a result, neglecting GTA racing. Anybody still playing Destiny on PS4? I'd highly recommend TTK for anyone thinking about buying it if you like Destiny gameplay as well.

Yeah I started playing Destiny 1 week after the release of TTK and I instantly loved it. I'm up to 307 light now, not played it in a couple of weeks now with the release of Need for Speed and Fallout 4 but i'll definitely be getting back on that grind soon.

My Destiny experience was that I was an early adopter, back in September 2014. I had it on the PS3 (and therefore, my PS3 account), and I got up to level 29. It was fun, but I only really enjoyed it for two months, then lost all interest in it. Endgame ultimately devolved into Crucible, Strikes, and the Raid (which I literally ran twice from start to end). Strikes were boring, Raid was weekly, and for me in the Crucible, it was all about not sucking. Which was harder than it sounds for me .

Yea it's definitely been a great experience so far. I'm up to 295 on my main character. Haven't gotten a chance to do the raid yet and been soloing nearly everything since all my friends have been playing other games recently. Maybe we could do some grinding together when you get back on it? My Destiny experience was that I was an early adopter, back in September 2014. I wanted to get into it right when it came out too since I loved the beta but decided to wait until I got a PS4 last June. I felt the same way as you about year 1 content but quite a few improvements have been made with TTK. The new strikes in particular seem more fun with better variety. Haven't done the new King's Fall raid yet but I heard it's bigger and better than the previous two. I'd recommend it if you were considering giving Destiny another chance.
