I've seen a lot of people in NODO that are always in Broughy's streams, and they never join casual PLs or anything. Now that there is a Broughy Fanboy crew, is there really a need for them to stay in the regular crew?

We aren't going to cross reference the crews and kick people in the fanboy crew out (they will get purged as normal). Also from what I hear Broughy isn't using the fanboy crew to invite to races with... so it doesn't really change anything for us.

What's the biggest group of players that take op slots in the crew?. Is it representives that are no longer active on the game or people who join the crew and never touch the forums. If the first thing is the case we need to find a way to check if people are still active on the game or not. If the second thing is the case then we need to find a solution to make sure that they need to join the forums or make clear that they should join IGN or whatever to get people to join their triple spiral wallrides or snipers vs stunters.

So you suggest that we make the crew forum only users? EDIT: Whenever I race outside an event or official playlist half of the people that I race with are either muscle or representatives who almost never use the forums.

With "people who never touch the forums" I mean the people who didn't read the guidlines and didn't become representive. I got invited to a stunt race a few days ago and I thougt it was a proper track created with the stunt prop but it turned out to be a real stunt race with loops, jumps amd wallrides. The guy who invited me was a nodo member but behaved like a random: he rammed me of the track several times. People like this don't know what nodo is and should just join IGN instead.

I think most people associate nodo with clean racing so generalizing about muscles is not justified IMO. Hosting stunt/LMAO/fun races and inviting nodo members is completely fine. If any nodo member pushes you out and actively tries to ruin your race, the only right thing to do is to save his name and report him to a commissioner. Also the rules for stunt races have recently been updated: nodo.freeforums.net/post/198807/thread

Hi everyone Err... I have been kicked in the latest purge. Where do I go to get re-invited please? ps. I thought being promoted was supposed to prevent getting kicked during the monthly purge?

There has been a rep purge, because the crew filled up to quickly. They're working on a new system, but up until then just try to visit the forums once or twice a week and follow the necessary steps (if there are any) to avoid getting purged. For now just rejoin the crew on SC and redo the steps that are required to get promoted.

I'm breaking my rule of not writing without reading everything, but here it goes.
I would say two crews. One for "randoms" and one for us. The random NoDo will be open for everyone, and the main NoDo I'd say have the guidelines for joining the same as singing up for an event. It's still open to everybody, as are the events, it just requires a little "work" to join the better crew. Obviously, it's not difficult to make an intro and put RSC and PSN in your signature. And the ones that would be signing up to that have already comepleted the requirements.
The ones that sign up for random NoDo will be happy with that, and the more serious ones like us will have our crew how it was meant to be.
I apologize if someone has already written something like this. I read a few posts to understand what the topic was about, then wrote this.

Allright fair enough. I missed the rep crew purge thread obviously. I'm guessing this affects my crew rank right? I was almost at level 100 when I got booted from the crew. Rank gets reset, yes. But tbf crew-rank is not so important. I don't even know what rank I'm at myself. @ everybody, I would like to point out aswell that this discussion is mainly aimed for PC and PS4. The reason we continued this thread i stead of creating a new one, is there was allready a couple of pages with quite some ideas and suggestions. However, the way we're going forward with this is ultimately discussed and decided behind closed doors between Commissioners. No absolute decisions will be made in this thread. We obviously do appreciate all you guys' input, and will keep it all in mind. scenic , how much I would like to have a member cap of 2, 3 or even 5K, it's not gonna happen unfortunately. People from a whole bunch of crews have been requesting this since GTAO first came out, and simply get ignored by R*. Going full on 'IGN' has never been an option. Back in the crew! Rank doesn't get completely reset, but lost a few ranks. Was 91, went to 75. I've only had a Nodo crew as an active crew ever since the game was released on PC. Only time I've changed was when PC got it's own crew and got separated from PS3.

Just saying...
two crew is far more injurious the ideals of NoDo than asking someone to come to forums and register to receive an invite.

If you put the people who know what they're doing in a second crew, you increase capacity, yes, but you remove accessibility and you end up with no regulation of the first crew. We don't want people running around with NoDo as their tag while they take people out and there's no one their to report/kick them because the only people that race against them aren't on the forums.

This.
We are all, I expect, protective of the NoDo brand and image.
Nothing that is undertaken should injure the branding.
Having a second crew means you are looking at 2000 people with as little as 8 people in total to enforce discipline as required.
It's an impossible task.

Also what is the point of having a crew for randoms? It would be filled with a bunch of people who mostly join to get the nodo tag and in hopes of joining broughy (properly not so much more as it's widely known that he now uses his stream crew).
Basically we have to prioritize between keeping the ideology that is "NODO is for everyone" or we change to a new model that is "NODO is for people who are dedicated enough to initially spend at least 30 min on the forum".
If we go with the last one I'd suggest changing the ranking system as well. Make it something along these lines;
Muscle - Everyone who have finished the initial steps on the forums. Representative - People who have/are participating in crew activities such as playlists, events, use slack/TS. Basically are active outside of impromptu racing with other nodo members. Lieutenant - Keep it the same. Commissioner - Keep it the same.
