Vehicle Engine Upgrade DO NOT work when a vehicle is retrieved from a Garage (i.e. when you exit a garage with one of your vehicles). Read the reddit thread below for more information. I can confirm this issue (I've tested it). You can resolve this by driving to LSC. There you hover over the EMS 4 upgrade with the cursor and everything should be fine. For now though, don't exit your garage with one of your vehicles. www.reddit.com/r/GrandTheftAutoV/comments/56hqpk/psa_vehicle_engine_upgrades_do_not_work_when_a/

So it's only an issue for freemode? Who cares?

So it's only an issue for freemode? Who cares? I'm not sure. Maybe it remains disabled if you join a race

Ok, I've tested it. It doesn't affect the car in races. Hence it's not an issue.

Huh, I been driving cars both from garage and called in, and couldn't tell the difference. I guess EMS doesn't have that big a effect once you have that turbo slapped on.
