Why go with which next-gen console? Ive seen a lot of crew members going to ps4 but why arent there as many on xbox one? Im currently going towards xbox one because more of my actual friends will be going to that and i prefer its exclusives, like forza. DONT say graphics, im perfectly fine with the 360 graphics on my old tube tv. So what makes each better?

That's the primary difference--I wasn't being a smartass. The XBO has a less powerful GPU and it's showing, with lower frame rates and resolutions on cross platform titles. I have an XBO mainly because I can't stand the PS4 controller and my first PS4 took a steamy dump. XBO has some great exclusives, but the PS4 is more powerful and the better console. m.ign.com/wikis/xbox-one/PS4_vs._Xbox_One_Native_Resolutions_and_Framerates

Really graphics and hardware are the main selling points for next-gen, which I personally believe should called Current-gen 2nd-Stage.
I mean every generation before then has seen massive gaps in tech and games, here however, it's really like going from iphone 3 straight to 7. yes it's newer and better, but revolutionary? well the previous generations were, but this... It just feels like a massive update, mind you a well needed update, but nothing as major.
Since both next-gen basically still use the same games on current gen I'll stick with the console which suits my tight budgetary needs of free online multiplayer, my PS3.

I don't mean to stray off topic, but I didn't feel like creating a whole new thread to ask this. I have a 32 inch Vizio TV. It has 720p 60 Hz. Will this be able to handle GTA 5 on PS4, with it being 1080p? Sorry, I'm not too technology savy.

Your TV will work, even if the source is 1080p it will be able to display it in 720p. 60 Hz is fine as GTA 5 runs at 30 fps/30 Hz. For resolution, 1080p becomes better only for larger size TVs depending on how far your couch is from the TV. At 10 feet from the screen the difference between 1080p and 720p on a 32 inch screen is hardly visible. referencehometheater.com/2013/commentary/4k-calculator/

OpalescentFalcon, thanks! Very helpful! :-) spartan2291, maybe some day but by the time I do that will be outdated. By the time you get the newest and best thing, 2 days later, a newer better version is out! XD

It's a bit funny to be discussing bleeding edge monitor tech in a thread about consoles--which are obsolete even before release lol.
