Man, this fucking sucked. But atleast it gave me time to go for a nice walk in the afternoon rain Here are several replays of the start, courtesy of the F1 subreddit: Multiple anglesMax onboardKimi onboardLewis onboardAs much as it hurts, I think racing incident is the call. VET likely doesn't/can't see the events unfolding on the left and he doesn't move over too far. VER, while correcting slightly to the left at first, is probably only looking at VET ahead and after that has nowhere to go. RAI pulls a risky move (considering track position and time of race), but looking at that gap and how much better his start was, I also think it was fair game. Hopefully the title race isn't just a snooze fest from here on out. Wouldn't suprise me tho.

Mercedes dry pace is puzzling. I wouldn't have HAM expected to control the race so easily once it dries up.

Kinda boring after the first laps. Mercedes got lucky, again. Riccardo got lucky, again. (Altho he is a great driver) Hulkenberg didn't win = solid 5/10 race..

This thread gets more and more pathetic by the week. I can't believe you guys don't realise how stupid you look with all these (mostly by nationalism polluted) mud throwing comments.

I think I only saw one good move. Someone tried making a pass on Palmer on the hairpin, but Palmer made a beautiful cutback and got the position back. Other than that it was a boring race with Hamilton out front and the backmarkers crashing causing safteycars.

We look stupid if we discuss the events of the race. Ok. It's always like this after a race. Just gotta get used to it

Seb being too aggressive, Max crashing out on the first corner, taking others with him... Same old F1. Lewis has been given the WDC on a silver platter and F1 has gone back to being boring.

The stewards ruling: racing incident. Not one driver could be determined to be mainly at fault.
Correct decision, IMO.

Both Ferraris retiring was enough of a penalty itself, would be a bit overkill penalizing one of them on top of that. An unlucky incident for them and RB/Verstappen. Ricciardo made it to 2nd place tho, which is nice 😃

Welp, at least you guys could talk 5 pages about the incident istead of hating each other on conformation against rumors.

That awkward moment when Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettle and Kimi Raikkonen all turn into drivers from the NoDo weekday PL and cause turn 1 aids. I'm almost impressed.
