Could you guys take this debate somewhere more private? Everybody has his/her own view of things, and not everybody agrees on everything. Of course finns are salty Kimi and Max crashed again, it has happened too many times, so it is easy to blame Max before we even see replays. I thought we were finished with the matter as it came out as racing incident, can't we just leave it there? We're just chatting about the topic this thread is meant for. I was about to leave it there but ender responded so i responded. I was planning on leaving this here now but it looks like you want to have a piece aswell

Hulk now has the record of most starts without a podium. Truly sad. He's got a bit of bad luck in these regards. Imagine Ric gearbox would've failed this race. But I believe he has a good chance to give that record back to Sutil at some point. That explains the RB pace and why the race got boring real quick up top saying Max caused it is utter idiocy wrapped up in lunacy I think that's a bit strong. I can see why one could think that way after a short glance at the incident (and especially in the heat of the moment). FIA Race director Charlie Whiting said this: ...and I guess the man knows what he's talking about. If he could consider VER to be at fault, however briefly, we should be tolerant with any fan that blames VER for this. Not agree, but treat it as a fair enough opinion, I guess. Could you guys take this debate somewhere more private? Why? It's a rather civil debate discussing the things that happened at the most recent formula1 race. Could be hardly any more on topic.

Next thing you know somebody will start to brake boost and they alr aedy short shift. So whats next, stunt props ? kerb boosts ? and massive banked turns ? GTARacing.net I presume that you mean staggered starts? That would bring some colour and action into formula one.

Also, my disliking for Max has come from all the past events of him crashing or being dangerous in general. I was very impressed when he won his first race in Spain and got a second place in Austria last year. But the moves he pulled in Belgium, Hungary and Mexico showed me what kind of driver he really was. Yes, he has a lot of skill, but he needs to take it easy and use it in correct places rather than crash out every other race this season. He could be a future champion, could. Most of the negative memories about Max have included Kimi in some way. 2016 Belgium almost killed them both exaggerate much. max hit a bit too much kerb and the both went into the runoff. kimi ended up winning the position. 2016 Hungary invited Kimi to overtake and moved over as he was coming past taking his front wing - I'll concede this one, max was being a dick here2017 Spain took him out on the first corner Bullshit are you blind or being ferrari's cheerleader. Max was side by side on the outside and kimi hit valteri's front wheel and it made him turn into max, making them both retire. anyone can look at the overhead shot and valteri's onboard to see that the way it happened in your head is just not true. And now this. Even if he wasn't the main Maldonado in this crash, it's still a crash in my eyes where Max played a big role in. Im not hating him for everything he does, but the kid needs to learn.

Yes that is what happened in Spain my bad. But the Belgium one where Kimi was about to overtake him on the straight after Eau Rouge, Max gave him the space and when Kimi went for it he blocked him in the speeds of over 300kmh. If that is overexaggerated for almost killing them then alright...

OK but the FIA changed the rules to suit Max's driving style, so... The kid is the new Senna. Being salty at him for being better than <your country's driver> is pointless. Also, look at Seb here - just noticed this: I can't believe Verstappen made him turn in like that by telepathy so Verstappen could ruin Kimi's race!

Just with the irrational Max hate.
Have any of you seen him explain his Brazil 2016 drive to Martin Brundle on Sky Sports?
This kid is more talented than any one driver on the grid. We lionise drivers like Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher etc but they were also killers on track. They didn't compromise.
Just watch that. I know it's 10mins long but hearing how analytical and mature he is? People should be on the hype train for Max, and not in a weird way like 90% of Dutch fans (because I understand the joy of finally having an F1 driver who isn't shit is real for Dutch fans... sorry, van der Garde).
