The racing techniques mentioned refer to things like racing lines, braking points, etc. The Nodo basics are talking about racecraft, being able to race someone without making contact, making dirty overtakes or accidentally spinning them out. Uncle Eddy is already an experienced driver and knows racecraft well, so there is no real need for him to participate. How can you be an experienced driver and be decent with your racecraft if you can't anticipate braking points and predict the lines? The reason why I asked is because I have no clue what OP expected, plenty of 'nodo rules' are very obvious and basic things and nobody will teach you how to pick a proper line, you have to get your own eye for it :/ The reason this newcomer playlist exists is because the new players caused a lot of trouble (crashing, not waiting, unsafe re-entering the track, etc). Causing the more regular players to get more frustrated and impatient, causing everything to go into a downward spiral. People in this playlist will learn how we expect everyone to behave if they race with us. We're (or at least I) not having patience with misbehaving regular players. They need to set the example, so they should behave like role-models. Not like frustrated scumbags.

even if my win/loss ration is 1:5 win/loss ratio is literally the last thing anyone in this crew cares about when it comes to judging driver skill.

I would like to participate on Saturday! even if my win/loss ration is 1:5 All we care about is fun and clean racing, win/loss rate is completely ignored in this crew. At least by the majority of the crew. With all the fast drivers its impossible to win much.

To give a new guys experience to Nodo who is not new to actual racing:
Being reminded to call out those that mess you up. To speak up when those types of accidents happen, whether to call for someone to wait or tell them to keep going. Being aware of the people around you so that you can actually call out things that happen. Just getting to know the people and the voices of regulars and newbies. Running tracks I had never been on, and bookmarking them. Driving with ONLY drivers who expect the same courtesy you expect. A clean pass or two, or even being passed cleanly is as much fun as winning some races. The actual mechanics of sticky starts, gridding up, pace car, and pit stops. One valuable thing I learned was to not move if you crash in the middle of the track. I would initially think getting up and moving would be the most beneficial, but as I was told, and makes perfect sense, a stationary target is easier to get around than a moving one. And lastly, if you take the wrong line, you will use a mountain as a ramp, repeatedly.

And lastly, if you take the wrong line, you will use a mountain as a ramp, repeatedly. lol some of these things happened to me last week so I thought I would add something more. {Spoiler} At first I didn't call out those who messed me up because I didn't know their names. In that case you should call out the color and name of the car.
I got messed up once in a bad spot (hairpin turn) and a lot of people crashed into me. I panicked and started steering and braking which made things worse because I reversed a little into the remaining open lane. In that case you should hold the hand brake instead of braking that way at least it is not your fault even if you are tossed to the open lanes haha.
Also most of the times I got messed up was because the people behind me didn't take into account my braking to take the turns. Maybe it was because of lag but I got spun around by people braking late or not paying attention to my actions. Also BREAK before entering the pits, last saturday I was taking a pit stop and got rammed full speed by someone. I went flying and ended up stuck in between some of the barriers of the pits. T_T ANYWAY, SIGN ME UP <capd so it gets noticed
