nah, the point is to reduce to just a certain amount of throttle. tapping w would still mean you go to 0 throttle input as soon as you release w On the controller, if you look behind and press horn at the same time you can downshift. Is there any way that this can be manipulated? i didnt even know thats a thing. knowing this game it probably could be somehow

But we know in GTA that the higher the gear the higher the acceleration, so I doubt it helps.

Any chance someone with a really fast lap could post a video? I apologize for the very poor quality, but I hope it makes some spots a bit more clear. The lap is completely without any short shifts, also a few corners were not taken as good as it could be, but it´s still the fastest I know.

I wish to one day go as smooth as you did on the bridge to freeway transition lol That being said, ending seemed to be improvable a lot if you didn't lose grip so much Also curious about the line after the narrow hairpin, do you find the bump that you can get from going far right not beneficial?

But remember, your lap time does not count unless you upload it to gtaracing.net/epsilon ! Otherwise you'll start at the very end in a division you do not fit in...

To be honest, I havn´t even thought about taking that line yet, because it seems so out of place. Thinking about it though, I doubt it will be necessary, because I think you will miss the boost I get on my line right before the barge. plus I think I get a better entry into the right hander this way. But I´m gonna try it out

Sorry but I'm going to have the drop out, can't make most of the dates and I know I can get reserves in but I don't feel like doing many events in the near future due to my exams coming up. Hope the event all goes well

What will be done if all the places aren't filled, less people per division, or just less divisions? etc

Hey tohrazer, The use cases you described luckily are no problem at all. I have tried to write the relevant rules as well as I could in my start post, but I will try to elaborate a bit tomorrow or so. Until then I can only say, it's all handled by the rules, the divisions (except for the last one) will all be full, promoting and demoting can always be handled in a good way - maybe except in extreme cases when more than one third of the drivers in a race do not show up. I don't expect this to happen at all, but if it really does, the DoubleDs and yours truly will surely find a solution. As mentioned, I'll try to elaborate until tomorrow, if the need persists.

I don't mean if people don't show on the day, I mean if not enough people sign up initially (sorry if I wasn't specific enough) - maybe I need to re-read the rules a few more times, it's a long post and difficult to take it all in at once.

I expect many people are saving their laptime practicing for closer to the event start. I just did my first run today for instance because I've had other stuff on and other races to practice for that are closer. I just managed a 2:12.652 after about 20 laps of learning braking points and driving angles. Now I just need to practice my throttle control. I think I've identified a unique racing line that I'll show people once I decide to start uploading videos to YouTube again. Oh and scrazor92, looks like I'm gonna have to change my set up. You're getting an incredible amount of cornering speed without losing the rear end and I don't understand why. Maybe my spoiler is too big and I have the wrong wheels.
