Jesus Christ - all the people complaining, do me a favour. Shut all kinds of the fuck up, then continue the shutting up for the next few months. And when you're done, shut up. Here's the deal - you race at the event host's discretion. If you don't like the track? Shut up. And be grateful you're allowed to race. Don't like the prescribed cars/teams? Shut up and be grateful. Don't agree with rules? Shut the fuck up and be grateful. I'm serious, your whiny posts are fucking hard to read sometimes. I can't see them through the red mist of rage. People like Ovivo put in a lot of work for an event - and I might know a thing or two about event hosting and whiny entitled millennial cunts - and people complain because basically they're shit human beings and the event wasn't set up 100% to cater to them. Which of course is the event host's fault for not recognising what their useless parents told them - that they are unique special little snowflakes that the world is just bursting with luck to have. Just stop it. The qualifying track is the choice the event host has. It's the event host's vision. If you can smash the wall and get a faster time on the last lap, great, so can everyone so shut the fuck up. You're not quick there? It doesn't suit your driving style? It's not a track you enjoy? I guess you failed to meet the event host's vision for the drivers in the event. I've seen butter in the midday sun that's harder than some of you.

A host should be able to take criticism of their event and the way it runs.
What you hosts and helpers make is art. The tracks, the hype, the videos, the teams, and the events themselves. Like songs and movies, your consumers, the drivers, are going to make comments on that art of what they like, what they didn't like, and you can use those comments to improve what you did or are doing.
Nobody else in this thread used vitriol language, directly attacked the hosts, or were otherwise rude. If you felt attacked by people bringing up this discussion, then you need to evaluate your ability to take feedback and understand the flow of a conversation.
Ovivo made it clear he is aware of the finish line strategy and that it is intented. But people can still talk about it and other event decisions if they dislike them, as long as it continues in a respectful manner, and if it turns them away from the event, they may want to let the host know in hopes that it may be changed.

People criticise the controversial finish that ruins the flow for hotlapping the track without an inch of insulting manner or derogatory comments. Adding to that, the host himself has acknowledged the "problem" and is fully aware of it. Yet you come here, post a wall of text, telling people to "shut the fuck up" and start calling everyone "kids with ADHD". Those "whiny, entitled, millennial cunts" also have a right to say when there's something they don't like. As long as dem cunts keep their heads cool and the conversation on a proper track, there's nothing wrong with that. Instead of listening to people's feedback, it's easier to tell them to fuck off and shut their trap, right? Are you for real?I will shut the fuck up now

Between my post and Oivio's "I agree", I think we can draw a line of what is and isn't allowed on the discussion (and how to say it), so we don't need to dwell on it in this thread.

I couldnt find the "locked to 60 fps" Rule. So if i want to compare my laptimes (just to know how slow i am) i have to add a few seconds to your hotlaps because you are all racing @ 144fps?
Or are your laptimes 60fps laptimes? Or do you not care about fps differences? Or are you all @ 144fps so you dont have to check on those rules? which would make it easier i guess.

Under "event requirements" on OP there's the 60 fps rule so we're all capped at 60

add a few seconds to your hotlaps because you are all racing @ 144fps? The best lap records of an overwhelming majority of hotlapped tracks (including very curb heavy tracks) are now held by 60 fps drivers. the best minmaxing 60fps hotlappers, the best minmaxing 144fps hotlappers, and Chilli, NoDO's resident game design engineer.. all 3 of these agree the difference between 60 and anything above is now highly insignificant. It's a non-issue.

I think I should point out that in-depth discussions of this topic have had their own threads created, like this nodo.freeforums.net/thread/9694/Just trying to keep things on the topic of F1 2017
