The Ridiculously Unaffordable Supercar
So expensive that you'll go broke in real life

After the one-sided and obvious hot-lapping session dazzling success of the Slightly Less Affordable Supercar, things have changed yet again. The cars of yestermonth have faded from view, again. But not to fea--- actually there is something to fear. The police have cracked down on our fun (evident with their dominant victories in both Affordable Events), and have miraculously skyrocketed the prices of our vehicles. We have accepted defeat. But as one last hurrah, the final Affordable Supercar will cross into the millions, with two hypercars and two supercars both produced by Progen and Pegassi (coincidentally). This is the finale to the Affordable Supercar series, with yet again new cars, a new track, and a slightly new format. Let the best abuser of their deep pockets win.

Qualifying
This event will be different from the previous Affordable Supercar Events. Instead of random grid generation, we will be using GTAracing.net for qualifying. Thank you to the wonderful and handsome AbeCede for taking time out of his day to provide a site for it
You will have to submit your fastest lap on gtaracing.net. It is required to submit a screenshot (if you are using Steam press F12 at the lap screen). It is not required to have a video attached to your time.
During qualifying you must follow event rules regarding curb surfing. You are permitted to do as many qualifying laps as you wish and submit as many as you wish (however please delete your previous time to keep the list clean).
To keep this fair, submit your lap times as you earn them and do not lie. It will be frowned upon to hold onto your lap times until the last minute.
Qualifying will close 48 hours before the event start. Any lap time submitted afterward will not be counted.
Failure to submit a qualifying lap will result in starting the race in the back of the pack.

Starting Procedure and Grids
We will have one warm up lap at start. You are allowed to overtake, however at the end of the lap you must stop and ready up for the grid.
Since the cars have the potential to be evenly paced, all cars will start at the same time. We will have the fastest laps from qualifying start at the front, while the slowest starts at the back. The grid will not be sorted by class, so the supercar class may very well start up with the hypercar class and vice versa.

Finishing Procedure
On lap 62, the race will officially “end”. As you cross the finish line to start Lap 62, you must pull off to the right side after the tubes and proceed to make a single file line behind the car that finished ahead of you. This is entirely to prevent invisible cars that can ruin the race for lower ranking drivers.
The pit-watcher will record who finishes in what position.

Pitting
Pitting will follow a revised version of Grotti F1 2016 pitting procedure. You have to stop for one second. The pit-watcher will shoot your car so you are able to pick up wrenches.
The pit lane is two cars wide, so you can easily have two people in pits at once. That being said, the first car to enter the pits is the first to leave the pits.
You will have three time tables for pits. The first is from lap 5-15, the second from 25-35, and the third from lap 45-55. You must complete one pit in each of these windows.
Failure to complete pits will result in you gaining 20 seconds per missed pit to your final time (e.g. missing two pit stops will result in a 40 second addition to your final time)

SPECIFIC RULES
Rule 1) Absolutely no PC Magic unless otherwise approved are allowed. This includes and is not limited to a well known PC Magic that many of us use. 9F issues are too problematic. Any evidence of someone using PC Magic will be disqualified immediately.
Rule 2) No curb surfing is allowed. This is especially prevalent on the two rumble strip straights!
(To go into further detail, you are essentially only allowed one curb boost per straight that RESETS upon completion of a lap. For example, you are allowed to curb boost a second time on the main straight AFTER you have crossed the start/finish line.)

Rule 3) You are never allowed to enter the pit lane exit to get the curb boost. It is a very narrow and risky curb boost and it’s worse with the pit lane exit being there.
Rule 4) This is NOT a GT event! You are allowed to actively defend against any car currently driving. However, blue flags are at play and apply to ALL drivers. (e.g. a Tyrus that is being lapped by an Osiris must make room for them!)
Ethics and Guidelines
You will be racing against your own class. Your performance against the other class is irrelevant. Blue flags are at play and apply to ALL drivers regardless of class.
Lag is an unfortunate event and it is strongly recommended that, to protect the integrity of the race, that if someone calls you out for hitting them that you wait unless you are completely certain that you did not hit them even by lag. This applies to every player, not just players in your class
You must be in the assigned TeamSpeak server for the entirety of the race. You do not have to talk but it is highly encouraged.
It is understandable that there may be bad days for racing where you are not on your top form. But for the integrity of the race and your fellow teammate (and teams score in point tally), it is discouraged to rage quit mid session. It is simply bad sportsmanship.

Points System
There will be two point systems. We will have the Individual Cup, where your performance against your fellow class is accounted for, and the Team Cup, where your position in your class will be tallied into scoring.
All of the cars can be similarly paced if they are driven to their absolute maximum, and we will thus have a Race Cup where there WILL be an overall winner of the race. This cup does not factor into team points at all, it is simply something to brag about
The team with the most combined points by the end of the race will be declared the event winners. That being said, this event is meant to be fun and while taking the race seriously is okay, do not become the event host (*cough cough* piguy3141 *cough cough*) and overtly rage.

Signups
Cars will be chosen through pools. We will have a maximum of 7 of each car. Once a specific car has 7 drivers, signups for that car will close.
In each team, you must have one Hyper and one Super car. You are not permitted to have two Hypers or two Supers in the same team.
To sign up as a TEAM…
· Team name (WITH COLORS)
· Player’s Cars (if you have open slots please list!)
To sign up as a FREE DRIVER…
· GT of Choice (List all four in preferential order)
· If you wish to sign up with a team, please indicate so in your initial post
· Free drivers that have not been recruited by the time signups are full will be drawn into random teams based on vehicle preference. That being said, there is a chance you will NOT receive your vehicle of choice, so please be prepared for this!
Sign-ups will automatically close when the event is full. Any sign-ups afterwards will be put on reserve and reserves will be drawn from on first come, first serve.
