I think it would be interesting for the drivers to get to tweak their own set ups to suit them. Different wheels and suspension can suit different drivers, it would add another aspect to the championship. Yeah I get that, but when the difference between a good setup and a bad one is measured in seconds I think it's time to draw the line. Finding a good setup takes a huge amount of time and luck, I'm sure I'm not the only one who isn't thrilled at the idea of having to spend most of a Saturday hotlapping and driving to LSC just to be competitive come raceday. Part of being a good racer is finding a setup that works for you, I think the rules should reflect that.

Well that's your problem then, isn't it? Why penalise other people just because you're too lazy to spend time setting up your car to suit your driving style?

Tbf doom has some good points.
At the end I'm against it because its too hard to monitor and people will, most of the time on accident, break the rules.
And I want my huge wings and spoilers goddamnit! xD

I think restricting body mods is silly as I did last time and now that we are more experienced in how mods affect cars i think the ability to tune your car with mods is a good thing for something like the mcec although it kinda makes me salty for casual one offs or daily playlists to tryhard in this way

We also shouldn't be restricted into using setups that we can't perform well with, but others can.

Filled in the form. Would be cool if I am selected obviously lol. Can step down a GT (or even 2) in case I am selected and if needed...whatever makes it easier for you tbh.

People have to work full time, go to school / university, study for exams. Committing 1.5 - 2 hours for an endurance race is already a big ask for some people with limited free time. I would just like to see an event where we turn up and compete in equal machinery (or as equal as GTA will allow).

Can we just make a peaceful suggestion without trying to make this thread get locked again? Like last year where it was locked day one. Cheers. At the end of the day it's Broughy's call. If he does, cool, if not, so be it, I'm here to do what I couldn't last year and win and have fun. To those who have never hosted a championship won't understand what it's like have alot of people complaining about one little thing like this. Deal with it or don't sign up I say.

Including work/real life stuff but also including practice.

I'd say this was a perfect start to this thread. MCEC nostalgia!
Anyway, I have a question for the PC side. Teamspeak. Will we have our own team channels or are we going to stay in one big one? Last season it became really boring and quiet in the team channels. And we are the type that loves talking while racing most of the time.

I would just like to see an event where we turn up and compete in equal machinery (or as equal as GTA will allow). So let me get this straight... These people, who are extremely busy, so busy in fact, that they are going to sign up to an event that spans 5 months from July to December. In between each race, there is two weeks to prepare and these people are so busy that they cannot even play for an hour or so a day to do a little bit of practice and experiment with their car setup (or not, if they don't want to). If you're that busy then just don't sign up or just accept the fact that you're probably not going to do that well regardless of whether you set your car up or not.
