i see 2 solutions and non contact is not one of them:
- we stick to the plan. the slower drivers or those who chocked will have to let pass the upcoming drivers. half of the drivers won't make points anyway.
- the starting order could be defined by the points standings. the first race starting order would be randomised.
right now, we stick to the plan.

me and Abe having the same idea at the same time sounds like a good sign.
what about a point to point non contact qualification track right at the beginning of the event?
that race would not bring points

G.L.E.N have you thought about also doing scores at the end by comparing the sum of everybody's fast lap? Like in the Dirt Games (and I'd guess in real life), where you finish based on how much time you take for the stages.

Like in the Dirt Games (and I'd guess in real life), where you finish based on how much time you take for the stages. good Idea. but not for this event. at least not for points. I could do that just for information. I don't want People to feel forced to rejoin the track after a chock to have a better total time. do you understand my point? |

I'm thinking about signing up, And I have some questions:
Do the car have to look exactly like one in the first post on this thread? I mean, roll cage, livery... And if yes, mare we going to be told wich livery to use?
Because of how we're gonna measure the time, basically we'll mesure who's faster either one of the half track of the track, right? Since one lap is half of the track's lenght.

Update in the Original Post: I may take part to the event since I found a easy and fast way to count the points and have the current standings after each race. If AbeCede's www.gtaracing.net for whatever reason does not work, I'll back out and manage the starting procedure and enter manually all the times while you do the stages. |
