Max needs to change his style... Max drove badly at the start of the season. People said he needs to change his style. He changed his style. He won. I don't see the point of your comment here.

Max would be the championship leader if Vettel got a grid penalty and Bottas, Ricciardo and Hamilton all broke down every race...

After the mistake in Monaco quali, he has seemed to have calmed down, and isn't making as many mistakes. I am not saying there is a major turnover, but small problems have been taken care of. I haven't really heard much critics talking him down recently, so lets just enjoy him making progress in his career

Me before the race and before I went to bed: "sigh, it's gonna be another Mercedes-Ferrari battle isn't it"
Me after I woke up: "what the fuck"

He's had a run of form that was off, and the issue wasn't his driving style. It was his judgement perhaps, or his impertinence; but that overtake on Kimi was classic Max. Which in turn is just classic.

Oh that move was so good. I feel bad for Bottas. The luck has been against him this season and the Finnish fans seem more fixated on a guy whose last win was >5 years ago. He's clearly got pace, talent and racecraft - the quali record is 4-4 this season. Red Bull are 5 VER to RIC 3 (VER has typically had better 1 lap pace with RIC having better race results) and Ferrari is 6 VET 2 RAI. So for top teams, esp given their results to date, Bottas is doing bloody well against a WDC. He deserves better results, and deserves more appreciation than bwah gets.
Much like how Red Bull in general, but Ricciardo in particular, deserve better reliability.
EDIT: also, shout out to Haas for that 4-5 finish.

So DRS is going to be open on turn 1 in Silverstone. A flat out corner with major turn in. With DRS enabled.
Oy vey...

Are there any Hamilton fans here? Do you think RAI deserved a fair penalty? IMO it was maybe 5 secs.

10s was fine. Vettel should have had that at Paul Ricard.
