So on the stream last night I gave a sneak peek to the new Cutting Coroners GP which is much longer than the older version. The point was made by a few that at this point it really shouldn't be called cutting coroners GP any longer since it's so different. I'm wanting thoughts on that. The reason I've kept it as Cutting Coroners GP is because it still has CC in its DNA. That's where it all came from and it has been a progression from CC to what is now the test track, then to the shorter CC GP then to this. There's also not much point in keeping the hospital section if I'm not going to call it CC GP (one of the biggest complaints with the original test track). So I need thoughts. I'm not necessarily asking for name suggestions although feel free to list them if you want, I'm just wondering whether you think the current name is still appropriate. For those who didn't see it, go to 18:50 here: www.twitch.tv/broughy1322/b/612877193

Hospital Haste Doctor's Dash Emergency Expressway Rescue Raceway Surgery Speedway General Practitioner GP
Keeps the medical theme but changes the name so it's not just associated with the old tracks.

I was gonna suggest keeping the name if it were just some minor changes but from video its pretty massive. I think it calls for a new name. Looks fantastic though, I hope it will be on 360 as well.

Cutting coroners has a big tradition in the Nodo crew so I definitely think the new track should have cutting coroners in his title. The name remembers everyone on where the hole thing started. Many of us are here because of the original testing on CC. Keep the memories alive!
(I'm sorry for my bad English...)

Tracks evolve as they age. This is simply another step in its evolution as a racing circuit, and I think it deserves to keep Cutting Coroners in its name.

How about a similar motorsport-meets-medical pun? Livery Damage.
Generally I like the idea of keeping the name and track layout hospital themed, even if it's not “CCGP”. I also think you should spin a cheesy narrative for the description. The way I see it is with the track's layout going from the hospital to the highway and then back again it's almost as if an emergency vehicle has been sent out to an accident and the victim has been brought back.

Honestly I agree that it should stay as CC GP.

The track is good, outside missing the hairpin on the highway, but I do think the name should change. I say that because the first iteration of CCGP was damn near 90% the same track as cutting coroners, but made better in my opinion. This new version has roughly 10-20% of the original cutting coroners in it. I see the similarities as well as the key hospital section, but it is quite the departure in feel due to race length nearly doubling. Not to put more work on your plate, but I would change the name and rework the hospital section out due to it not being a CCGP, and then touch up the original version with ps4 goodies while leaving the PS3 version and TT version for old gen to have fun with.
This is definitely one of those damned if you do and damned if you don'ts. I am sure you will get shit for whatever choice you make, but haters will hate.

This new version has roughly 10-20% of the original cutting coroners in it. I'm not sure where you got that figure from - the only part of the regular cutting coroners that's missing in this track is the final hairpin.

It was an arbitrary figure.

It was an arbitrary figure. So you meant that less of the whole track had CC in it proportionally, not that there was actually less of CC in it?

YES. Precisely. Wrote that OP in a groggy state. So it might have been a bit hazy. Sorry for the confusion. My statement still stands though. The feel of the track is different, now that the length is nearly twice of the original.

I should just call it cutting corners and be done with it

Keep the Cutting Coroners part of the title, but perhaps just stick a 'Revisited', 'Redux' or 'Deluxe' at the end.
