Okay let's do this properly this time.
On 30th September I will no longer be part of the NoDo moderation team and will hand full control of all community facets over to them. Thus my time running this crew will be officially over.
Contrary to the meltdown from yesterday, NoDo will not be closing its doors and the Mod team are sorting out how best to continue in a wide variety of areas. NoDo will continue, but I will have no say or part in how it does continue. Given I've not been actively within the community for a while now this can only be a good thing, and hopefully NoDo will continue to flourish or at least exist without me weighing it down.
Thank you all so much for making this community what it is. I never imagined when I created it for me, Tony, and Drakov to get together in GTA that it would turn into what it has, and I'm very proud that I was able to do something to contribute to the enjoyment people may have gotten out of GTA and beyond. Me taking this step back has been a long time coming, but it's finally time for me to give this up and let it continue on without me. I'll not extricate myself from the community entirely - I may still race in events from time to time - but I'll not be involved in any of the running of the crew.
I very much hope that NoDo continues to be a place where you can all come and enjoy racing, GTA, or just each other's company. Despite not being around much in recent years, experiencing and growing this community in those early years especially were such an important part of my life and it feels strange to be giving it up. There are many emotions to process with something like this - more than I expected.
But I will do that on my own. Thank you all again for being part of this community and making it so great over the last 5 years. You're in good hands now, so here's to the next 5.
