I recently got back into making tracks on GTA. I plan to remake most of my old tracks from the 360 on the Xbox one which were mostly recreations of real circuits. I was looking up some tricks to improve my circuits and came across this forum and thought this could be a good place to share my creations.
St Pete
My first project is a new one for me. The Streets of St Pete. A street circuit in St Petersberg Florida used by Indycar as the opening round of the season. I made it using the Los Santos airport. Most of sector one is using stunt track but the second sector tightens up using tyre walls giving that street circuit feeling of the walls looming over you. the final sector opens up and out of the final turn you come back onto the runway. I built this track with a pit lane on the right hand side on the start straight with slow sticks at the start and end of it to make sure you can't use it as an advantage.
Adelaide
Project number 2 is redoing one of my circuits from the 360. Based on the layout used for the Clipsal 500 I had made this track before but it wasn't great. I've redone the checkpoints and added more props, made kerbing for the Senna Chicane (turn 1 & 2) and widened the track in areas. I didn't put a pit lane on this as the area the start is in would have had bushes and lamp posts coming through the pit lane. Turn 1 and 2 may be changed again but this is my first attempt at making the chicane. Revisiting this circuit to remove some lamp posts
Current Project
Rallycross
Test 1
First course uses the Sandy Shores Airfield and some of the dirt roads surrounding the area with a joker lap located outside of turn one. Barriers are temporary while I work out the layout and any changes I want to make to the circuit and ideas as I make the other test courses. Car selection are cars I think fit in a rallycross setting, may change in the future but working with this for the time being
Future projects
Reworks
Barbagallo
Baltimore Street circuit
Belle Isle
Hidden Valley
Homebush
Houston
Laguna
Long Beach
Mid Ohio
Monaco
Norisring
Phillip Island
Sandown
Sau Paulo Street
Singapore
Symmons Plains
Winton
