With myself behind the wheel: 93 mph or 150 km/h.. nothing 'special'.
With someone else behind the wheel: 144 mph or 230 km/h on a highway in Germany that doesn't have a speed limit in an Audi A4 2.0, 180 bhp That was like flying haha

When returning from a roadtrip to Germany I decided to rip my fathers car a little, so just before the border back into the Netherlands I put it down until I crossed it. Managed 195 km/h (like 126 mph?). The car was a Mazda 6 (2.0 TDI). Oh how I love driving in Germany; chilling on cruise control with 150+ km/h? Yes please!
In my own car I did 160 km/h (100 mph). I thought it would fall apart at that time... I own a Suzuki Swift and it took me at least 10 minutes of flooring to get to that speed...

Just 180 kmh (110 mphish?). I was 18 and it was in a beat up Golf 93. It had GTi seats so I felt like it should be able to go fast. Felt like it was shaking apart by the time I hit 150.

Well, as others already mentioned, it's nothing special to hit high speeds of 200-220 km/h (124-136 mph) on German motorways, if the conditions allow for it.

100 in my friends Subaru Outback on the freeway. I'd have been completely screwed had I been pulled over, since I don't have a license.

Most of the Germans that drive the higher-class vehicles (national of course) seem to find most conditions allowable. Anyone who has driven there could back me up on this: Imagine you're on the left lane of a two-lane highway. You're driving at 170 km/h at that point and think you're on the pace, because the trucks seem to be standing still to your right as you pass them by. You look in your mirror and see some flashing headlights closing in on you so damn fast you might want to get to the right lane ASAP. At least two fat Mercedeses are on their way to kiss your butt while competing against each other. Then when they pass you it feels like you are the truck. No highway could ever be as much fun as those in Germany!

I reached around 195 km/h (121 mph) on the speedometer (which was probably around 180 km/h (112 mph) real) with a '03 Renault Kangoo 1.5L dCi (80 hp), and around 185 km/h (115 mph) with a '91 Rover 216 GSi 16V (116 hp). Both times were on French freeways.

155mph on my Suzuki SV1000, 122mph indicated in my Volkswagen Golf TDI. Decidedly less exciting in the diesel. I don't really ride that fast anymore now, which is kinda weird since I moved to Germany.
EDIT: Once I rode a friend's Kawi ZX-12R up to about 165mph and had to slow down. That was back in the States on a long, straight country road. Really stupid, but I was young and new to motorcycles.

I know I hit over 130 on my old Honda CBR929, probably not much over that though. At that speed I wasn't looking at the speedo anymore. The air hitting your head is amazing, would be interested to see what its like on a superbike that can hit 200 on some tracks.

No highway could ever be as much fun as those in Germany! Exactly this, thinking 180 km/h is fast then some germans in their audi's and bmw's come along doing easy 220 km/h making you feel like a right scrub. I do have to say though they drive this fast also in situations where they really shouldn't, thinking they are the king of the road in their high end cars.
