I never put armor on my cars, I think it's a big waste of money. Any good racer can win without crashing into anything at all. Furthermore, the idea sounds quite cool to me, even if it's just to make people think twice before they go in for the aggressive overtake. You need it in gta it isn't even a question of is it worth it.One mistake from someone else can reck you and then your car is deformed with no armor and becomes much slower.And even the very best drivers make mistakes,especially on new tracks so it always is of benefit. I don't really seem to have any problems with it though.

I havent raced you so I don't know.Maybe you don't need it.But I havent seen any driver who doesn't find it useful to have.I would really recommend trying it out.
