[PC]Re-living the old days - 15th of November - Completed

Summary:
There were some interest of having a nostalgia event of the two most popular events hosted on PC, ovivoJR 's Grotti F1 and endersai 's SAGTC (formerly known as SATCC). This two will be the main event for the night, but for some warm up, we will do two more races from some other former PC events voted on the top of the poll. This event will be a long one, be ready.
We are going to use specific rules from the original events, different for each race.
No Kloden's Le Mans, or Broughy's MCEC on the list, because two reasons. One, there are chance for 1 more season for both of them being hosted in the near future by the original hosts. Two, the point of these championships are Endurance (1.5h on race), which we can't fit into a night of 4 races. Sorry.

You have to be the right voice chat on Discord for you to get an invite for the event. Mic is not mandatory, but having to hear the host is.
Well do the meet up at the classic location of the parking lot of the Observatory.
Bringing police is not mandatory, but it would be nostalgic.

Grids:
The night is already packed with races, we don't have time to host qualifying for events would have a qualifying. Instead we are going to go for the random grid generator, which will give you the same average starting position as everybody else. (link). Random grids was a big part of SAGTC anyway.

Race 1 - Slow Sedans (~20 minutes):
History:
Originally hosted by Just Hero Gut, and a co host, who will not be named (kili31 ). I beileve the original intent for the championship was to recreate SAGTC, but with Hero's favourite class, Sedans. But Hero is here to correct me if I'm wrong. We had a test event with 2 different group of cars, and the fan favourite was selected for the first full season. For season 2, Hero tried to add a few more downgraded cars to the grid, but the new balance wasn't well received. So when silkie hosted Season 3, the Championship returned to the original list of cars.
Just remember, the paint on the trunk acts as a spoiler, not having on means a disadvantage.

Race 3 - San Andreas Grand Touring Championship (~30 minutes):
History:
Originally hosted by endersai , the point of this event was to have a racing series with cars with different characteristics but close enough on pace. The cars were based on the GT3 regulation, and the infamous word of BoP from the real series was introduced in the championship as well to keep the cars balanced. This championship was the had the most season with 7, with 3 different group of cars. Also had a few one off events born out of this championship, like the young driver test.

Special rules: If 3 or more cars are involved in a crash, we will call the SC, to bunch people up, and ruin the Prolaps drivers races. Everybody has to bet $1000 on themselves, and not to do any other bets. Teammates will have to drive the same car for this race only.

Race 4 - Grotti F1 World Championship (~30 minutes):
History:
Originally hosted by ovivoJR , this championship brought the famous F1 series to PC. With the fastest rear wheel drive car in the game (at the time of this championship), the driver's job was to push to the absolute limit. To win this highly regarded championship, you had to be on top of your game on many different venues, and be consistently quick.

For signing up, please write a message under this thread, or PM me on the forums or on Discord. We will advertise the event on Discord as well, a few days after the sign up is open on the forums.
Everybody will have to form a team of 2, selecting aone or two sponsor(s) from the game. Teams with some history prefered. Also, the teams have to select a colour scheme to run with for all the races.
Because of the nature of the event, people who participated in the original events will have preferential entry to the event.
When the races are finalized, people will be able to select the cars they are going to use. No limit on the number of cars.
