This is my latest track, based around two sections of road that I had wanted to use in a race for a long time now. The first section (checkpoints 1-6), is one that I have seen used in many races, but not heading in this uphill direction. The same can be said of the second section (checkpoints 26-35), only this time going downhill.
Anyway, the race is called The Devils Back, which is named after the section of the race from checkpoints 10 to 35. It is a long, winding downhill road that will test your nerve, especially during the fast chicane through the suburbs before a blind left-hander. It is also quite technical, especially at the very end, with the turns shown in the thumbnail for the race.
After making it down The Devils Back, you take a left-hander onto the freeway, before another tight left and driving around behind the baseball field. What follows next is a fast, straight section through more suburbs, with the odd slower corner, back around to the starting line, and the ascent begins again.
Although this is a fairly narrow track, it is certainly possible to overtake. Just make sure you pick the right moments to do so.
