When I first started racing I used low default and was quite comfortable and good with it but since racing better racers high default is a must at least. Better opponents meaning I was able to go wheel to wheel more often and for longer so needed the extra viewing space. Far is well just that, too far for me.
Don't use my right analog either, I understand it may be better in some situations but I'm old school at that just feels like I'm racing scalextric cars lol

High & Far. Easier to keep a good spacial awareness and don't have to check the map as much. Also use the right analog stick whenever necessary to keep an eye out for other cars, though sometimes it ends up fucking me up instead if I'm not focused Either way, it's how I get the most information when driving, making mistakes is something to make up for with practicing anyways imo.

Low and default.I didn't even know you can change the height, where do you change it? pause > settings > display > vehicle camera height It was the first settings I changed when I got the game. In GTA IV, I had to constantly using the right analogue stick to adjust the camera height. Drove me mad.

I started with low and default but I changed to high and default when I joined the crew, as I knew a lot more people would be getting close to my car, and I can see around better with this view.

High and far for awareness. Also been using the far camera for the past couple of gta's so it would be weird to change it now.

Wish there was an option where the camera followed your turn faster. Hairpins on new tracks or unfamiliar tracks are aids
