Just a bit ago, me and Gurthygurth encountered a weird glitch on the 360 while racing a playlist. We were on Far Out Loop, and it was a coupe race, however, my game decided to think it'd be a good idea to give me a muscle car. We were both weird-ed out as it was Dominator vs Zion Good news, we're one step closer to Multi-Class Racing (I've never heard of this glitch ever happening either). (On a side note, I experienced another minor glitch : on the first race of the playlist he won, and I DNF'ed, but we both awarded 15 points). Warning : Poor Quality - Sorry Somewhat Related Update to This: On the One, a friend of mine claims that this has happened, but on a larger scale. Supposedly, he was in a coupe race, and he spawned as an Annihilator. So far, no evidence, but he's a trust-worthy friend, so I'll take his word for it. (Given that this is true, atleast Land-Air vehicle cross-overs are possible).

What are the chances the first true multiclass race of its kind would finish with a total time difference of 3 thousandths of a second. Broughy1322 should have a field day with that one. I would be interested to see if you could replicate the glitch and discover how to force the glitch so we might use it as a feature. The plot has certainly thickened and this post was far more interesting then I thought it would be. This is a glitch with potential to good in the right hands.

It'd be splendid if I could replicate this, the only info I really have is that the first race of the playlist was a muscle car race (the one I mentioned I DNFed in), and later on in this 3rd race - THAT happened. I might try and do this with a friend or two if they were willing.

If thats correct were you given the choice of any muscle car liked or did it autopick your dominator and launch? Also use as many constants as possible. Settings, playlist, whether you were host or not should all be the same.

Lets See : Gurthy was the host - in the glitched race he was fine, I could chose any of my muscle cars, custom, or stock. Race 1 - the original muscle car race I DNF'ed, Gurthy finished. Race 2 - Sports Race - He won, I 2nd Race 3. the glitched race - It was set to coupes, (3 laps, noon, clear conditions - if that may or may not be a factor, who knows). He chose his Zion, and I got my Dominator (at first I assumed he changed class last minute).
I'm going to have to tackle this investigation ASAP. With a long weekend coming up, for Feb "break", i'll have plenty of time to try and replicate this. After that race, everything was normal. We were both clueless. In the mean time, I'll take a look and try and find that playlist.

Haha it would be immense if this was possible. (Huh, my luck, JUST messaged you on YouTube about this matter, oh well). But yea, this would be amazing to replicate. Given the circumstances, it'll be hard to give this a shot and do again. I'll keep you guys posted if anything arises. Just thought of this: If Rockstar finds a way to patch this, that'll be truly sad, or it could better remind them that this is a feature we need.

I think this once happened to me on PS3 ages ago, before I was even in NoDo. Never encountered it since then.

I would definitely keep this between only race crews and no videos if we do figure it out Broughy1322. The last thing we need is one of these little shits with 500K subs to go around making videos about how to get free race wins using supers vs utilities. THAT would force R*s hand and they would patch it because it affects money and RP. Thats the only way they seem to care as far as I can tell because the catchup glitch is still in the game almost a year and a half after the game dropped.
