This is something I've wanted to know since I started adding people from this crew. When is it ok to join people's races? I never know if I'm interrupting an event or something... Any rules or such? Thank you for answering

Well, if someone invites you there is quite a big chance they are searching for other guys ( so you too). But if someone is doing like an event or a championship or something like that it might be a good idea not to interrupt them, since they are not always waiting for an extra player.

Then my good sir, you send them a message and ask. When you don't get a reaction they are probably too busy to react. So then you can make a decision to go in or not and experience the consequences, whether they are good or bad.

That is the procedure I was already using. I guess I'm just not gonna join any more.

Just join the race. If its an event then people will only invite the people taking part in that event so if you get an invite then just join it

Pretty much. Sometimes when people get a group of racers then there will be times that they won't send out invites just to save time.

If you join a lobby and it has 25+ people and they are all saying "get out of here, this is such and such event" then it is an event. In all of my time racing in this crew I have never just accidentally joined a planned race.

Just join in. Most dont' send out large invites on their friend's lists, and the in-game invite system is hit-or-miss. Many people may never see the invite on their phone, even if you see the red "INVITED" label in the lobby.
