personally think that track is too long .... multi clas racing should have an element of lapping and fighting through slower cars .... we saw even with the OP elegy and the crap penumbra it took 8 laps of north loop to lap anybody the cap between the cars is never going to be bbigger and if its jesters vs massacros vs comets im betting there would be no lapping in the hour on that track.... I agree. The lapping part was really fun and the race would have to be very long to lap a car on a track like this. Although I think it took less than 8 laps. I remember taking a guy on two on the first part of the track, and I only lasted 6 laps. Also I'd welcome an easier track to learn. I had a ton of fun with NL and did a lot of practice, but I doubt I'll have that much time and dedication to learn each future track.

I'd agree with Hale with the whole lap length thing. Too long and it becomes too much like hotlapping later on in the race when everyone is spread out. Yes, the car choices (Jester, Massacro & Comet) won't be as spread as the classes in the previous race but racing each other is what we are all here to see and do. With that in mind I'd like to submit a potential track for the next event: Baytree Canyon Grand Prix
I made this circuit the other day. I was consistently getting low 2.40s (not the cleanest of laps to be fair) in a fully modded Entity so probably will be around 3minutes for sports cars. In order to speed this process up it might be a good idea to use the polling system and have everyone vote on circuits they would like to race/see raced. That way, even the members that aren't directly involved in the competition i.e. drivers, still have some sort of input voice in all of this. Edit: I'd also like to add that LSGP would be a good circuit to do this type of event on at some point in the future. Everyone on this forum (I'm assuming) knows that track really well so the level of competition would be very high and would make for a great race.

I don't think LSGP is a good track for this kind of race. There are too many poles being knocked down all the time, even with small amounts of drivers. And if there was 16 drivers spread evenly across the track, knocked poles would be a very common obstacle for oncoming drivers. I really hate flying off from a downed pole that only just rendered in front of my car. I think we should select a track where there are no poles near the racing line, or are simply blocked by props. Check out this track. Broughy might dislike it for its immersion-braking containers, but it's a very neat track with clean racing line and is overall very fun to race on. I think something like this, only longer and a bit wider with more overtaking space is something we need for the next race.

There are plenty of other tracks made by the same guys where poles are entirely out of the picture. In fact, most of their tracks have the fast line entirely in the road, so there's no sidewalk/offroad BS.

haydugjr I haven't seen the other tracks, but that's what I'm saying. Bigger, longer D-ring. Nad how is it more technical than LSGP? It's much harder to get a good laptime on that track than on D-ring, at least for me.

I didnt like D-ring at all. It wasnt that technical, not sure what makes you say that and I absolutely hate the cargo crates being used as props in the city. It looks so damn tacky. The only place those make sense is at the dockyard or maybe in the parking lots of an Industrial plant but in the middle of the street? Just...no.

The containers are there just to prevent you from going off the track. They could be removed. The thing I like about D-ring is its clean racing line. I say we could use a track similar to it in this aspect. I realize it needs to be bigger, longer, and I don't like those containers too.

I'm thinking the next one should be a battle between race prepared comets, massacros and jesters, with 5 teams of 3 people, for that ultimate WEC feel. Great idea

I think a good endurance race idea would be Dewbauchee Exemplars against Lampadati Felon GTs. I don't know what track would be the best for this but it's my best idea.

I like the idea of off-roading for the next one. We could have the Injection as the top racing class, followed by the Dubsta 6x6 and end with the Rebel. What would make the race particularly interesting is that there are different sized vehicle, meaning those in Rebels and Injections have to be extremely careful when passing 6x6's due to the deadly combination of colossal trucks and tiny offroad trails.

How about having sultans and futos on the off-road track?
