I'm not available on Sunday evenings as I spend every Sunday with my grandmother.
I hope you guys have fun, though. I'll be organizing something soon as well.

You can count me as a maybe. I promised to pick up my parents at the airport tonight and their flight is supposed to land at 20:00 (I'm UTC 0). Then they have to get through beggage claim and the duty free and security and stuff so who knows how long it'll take. But if I'm online when you are starting the event, I'll take part and make sure some of those last places wont be empty

If I'm going to waste my time, it certainly won't be wasted on endurance racing in GTA

I will join in. However, I am not a big fan of endurance racing, so this may be my first and last (for a while). I'm not very competitive or on-the-pace, so I don't particularly enjoy hour-long races that I end with a DNF. My general opinion of GTA racing is that anything longer than 8 minutes (when the cash maxs out) becomes excessive. Maybe someday when/if I feel more competent as a racer, I will find endurance racing enjoyable. For now, I find it kind of demoralizing. But I will join in tonight. Be ready to lap me, I'll probably let you by.

Guys like KoBo_043 often experience lapping, crashes and being on a slower pace, but he is one of the most active guys on ps3. I agree that you shouldn't race if it isn't fun. I just want to point out that racing can be fun even if you don't have the pace.

I did a few months of weekend endurance racing on 360, so it isn't as though I haven't given it a go. It's just not worth the time expenditure and I'm not sure it would be even if were I on pace. Maybe. I'm open to trying it again periodically, if I think I'm improving in general. Will see how tonight goes. Perhaps I will be surprised.
I might also be up for a multi-class endurance sometime, as I have never tried one of those.

Not taking part in this one, because I'm not a pc player, but what @hiberg said is absolutely true. I for myself don't race for the win, I race for the fun. Championships are not my thing. Endurance on very long tracks isn't either, because your on your own pretty much all the time. But the chat can be very fun, and for me racing clean and letting guys pass when lapped without an accident is also part of the fun. But I also agree that 'losing' always can be demoralizing. The 'fun-factor' imo isn't all about winning, for me it's more having a nice and fair race (EVEN when last)! Big part of keeping it fun is aknowledging your not on par from the get go, just like you did. Anyway, I hope you guys habe a great time :5

I'm in. I have never been in a race that long but we will see. At least I'm comfortable with the track. RSC: RapTor_X_

I'd just rather lose six 10-minute races than one hour-long one.

Well I know for a fact I am going into this and not planning on winning there are too many really good drivers for me to go up against but the way I see it, in these kind of races it's better to be consistent than fast. One or two fast laps is nice, but if you have a lap where you fly off the mountain because you were going to fast that doesn't really help you out much, but if you stay constant at a decent pace you got a good chance of getting up there.
