Day: Sundays starting 5th July ending 9th August Time: 2 hours each week event, starting times to be decided 4 races per week
Event-Specific Rules
- It will be a team championship, 9 teams with 3 members, there will be an individual championship also
- Points awarded according to the number of people that started the race.
- If I can't see your final position or car used in the leaderboard you'll be awarded 0 points, it would be very time consuming checking the footage of 24 races to confirm which cars and positions everyone had.
- All the team members must use different cars in the race, for variety. (Except in Super and Sports Classics rounds) There will be harsh penalties for failing to do that
- The team haves full responsibility picking the cars for the race, try not to create arguments regarding that.
- To increase even more the variety of cars in the race there will be bonus points for slower cars, I will explain it how it works later.
- Regarding the bonus points for using a slower car the bonus points are going to be limited by the points you were awarded in the race, so if you get 15 points in a race you can't get more than 50% in bonus points (thus a limit of 7.5 bonus points)
- Teams will be drawn randomly once sign-ups are completed
- All 1 seater and 2 wheel vehicles are banned from the event (except the Taco Van)
General Rules
- It's a championship with points but try to have fun and don't focus only in winning, try to make the experience enjoyable to everyone
- All normal NoDo rules apply
- If there is a dispute over an incident, it is the responsibility of the driver disputing the incident to provide footage of the incident. All disputes will be dealt with AFTER the race is finished
- Some tracks won't be suited for 27 players racing so try more careful in this event
Reserves Rules
- Each team is given an unlimited amount of reserve driver appearances throughout the championship
- All reserve driver appearances, and switches in the teams must be announced on this thread before the race happens.

Here I will explain the following:- Bonus points
- Points Penalties
- Class attribution for the race
- Weather for each race
Bonus points:
So... Bonus points, as you might have read the points you get in the race are determined by the number of players that started the race, so if you get 1st place in a 20 player race you get 20 points 5th place you get 16 points until 1 point for the last place.
In order to increase the variety of cars used in the championship I will implement bonus points for slower cars, I will use Broughy's Cutting Coroners GP times as a reference, try to use that as your advantage as some slower cars might do well in certain tracks.
Bonus points work the following way, imagine I finished 3rd with a 9F in a 25player race:
I will see using a percentage how slow is the 9F compared to the fastest car in the class (the Elegy):
9F time: (1:05.238 --> 65.238 seconds) Elegy time: (1:03.542 --> 63.542 seconds)
65.238/63.542 = 102.67%
Now I will multiply the difference between the Elegy percentage and 9F percentage by 10x:
(102.67%-100%)*10 = 26.7%
3rd in 25 player race = 23points + 26.7% = 29.141 points = 30 points (I'll round up the points)
The Sanchez won't be used in the calculation of the bonus points in off-road, the Bifta will be used.
Points Penalties:
You and your team can have points subtracted if you fail to show up with different cars to the race (Except for Supers and Sports Classics rounds)
The penalties are the following:
2 players with the same car = Total points of both the players in that round / 2
3 players with the same car = Total points of the team in that round / 3
So failing to follow this rules could make your team score like they just raced with 2 or even only 1 driver.
Class for each race:
We will race with all the classes except for Utility,Motorcycles and Cycles. Two wheeled and/or 1 seat vehicles are banned
The classes will be randomized and there will be the following number of races with a specific class: 5x Sports
4x Supers (9)
3x Muscle and Coupes (15)
2x Sports Classic, Off-Road and Sedan (21)
1x SUV, Compacts and Vans (24)
Weather:5 races will feature rain, at least one with sports and another with supers

I can be a reserve driver as my schedule this summer is a little inconsistent. Might need borrow some custom cars during SUV and Van races, otherwise I am set to be a reserve.

About borrowing cars, in the Sports Classics and Super rounds there is no restrictions at all in the other classes the team must use different cars.
I think i'll do the races in regular mode because I don't want people starting the race in a Rapid GT and switching to a Massacro Racecar without me seeing, I'll use the leaderboard at the end of the race to check the final positions and award the bonus points, every person that I can't confirm the final position or car used will be awarded 0 points (Blame Rockstar for not letting us see the entire leaderboard at the end of a race)

I have a set of sports cars, compacts and muscle cars I can use.

Yeah sorry about that but it's the only way I can do it because I don't want no one exploiting the slower car bonus.
But for example in the SUVs the 3rd fastest SUV the Radius only costs 55k to get race ready.
And the Radius would give you 32.2% bonus points

But there won't be any GT's =) the team need to show up with different cars (Except in Supers and Sports Classics due to the price) when teams are selected it's just a matter of discussing which cars everone uses in that week races. So for example in a Sports race I will use a Elegy someone else a Feltzer and you can use every car except those two. |
