Track: Oh The Crossovers!
Ok - let's cut to the chase. There are so many serious, intense PS3 events and championships right now so I'm not gonna drop another one on you.
This is straight up, no faff, no complex rule-systems, no pit strategies etc. etc. etc. - it's all about the fun.
Based on the PS4 Muticlass AIDSdurance races (featured on Shaggy's videos looking like a hell of a lot of fun) - this is going to be a simple, one hour FUNdurance race (because I'm trying to cut out using AIDS as an analogy for race incidents, shout at me ingame if I slip).
For those who haven't seen the AIDSdurance races, they're on tracks which feature an incredible number of crossovers and the fun is in trying to avoid incidents at said parts where the roads merge, although crashes will inevitably happen, the idea is to run the race with standard NoDo racing etiquette rules and try to avoid crossover collisions. It's intense and a hell of a lot of fun.
To that end, I've created a track with a ridiculous number of crossovers and loops (but, crucially, no points where traffic goes head-on into other traffic) and I want to host a similar one-off race.
All you need is an Osiris and 90 minutes (including prelobby) of free time next Tuesday and we can take a break from all of the intense, competitive racing which has been going on lately and just have a bit of fun.
If you don't own an Osiris, you are more than welcome to use a stock one. Infact, I'm hoping we have a good balance of Stock and Custom Osiris drivers because it'll make the crossover dodging a lot more fun.
No teams, no sponsors, no specific colours - just fun for an hour. Tagging every PS3 guy I can think of (apologies if I forget anyone, you are more than welcome to signup if you're not tagged here)
