So I have a little bit of a concern with Rattlesnake GP. After checkpoint 16 there's a gas pump that I've come really close to hitting several times, especially if I push the car in the section before it. If there's any extra props at all, I recommend blocking that off because I guarantee that in the race someone will blow up on that corner otherwise. Good point blah, I blew myself up already when I was just practising a bit and pushing it too hard  That's the only part of the track I like.  I call it the Curb Boost of Death, since there's the curb you can boost (duh) under the gas pump. I can now also explode it without killing myself, which could be a good move to rid me of a pesky following car. But otherwise that track is boring as feck, to be honest. I don't mind the Sandy Shores setting, I hate there's a long straight between every interesting part of the track. You have a 3 minute something lap and you spend the majority of it just driving down straights. What a pain to learn and hotlap too. You gotta spend 3 dull minutes before you can get another try on the turn you're trying to learn. |

ovivoJR - I have set up my Zentorno in a black and gold colour scheme that calls to mind the John Player Special Lotus livery of the 70s and 80s. I even have "Golden Shower" neons on there, just to draw attention to the car as safety car. I picked Zentorno because it's rear of the car, especially if the lights are on, is sufficiently different from the Turismo to avoid confusion. Let me know if any concerns with this approach, and I'll upload pictures later.
EDIT: Also, you're in Germany right? Just want to be sure it's GMT +1, because it's the difference between 3 and 4 am Sunday for the race start for me.

Rattlesnake might be boring for experienced drivers but you still have to secure the ein. It is perfect for the first race to give everybody a chance to settle into the event. I completle disagree in your opinion about Monaco. It is a good mix of wide turns and tight parts. The chicane in the top level is no place to overtake. You have to be cautious to overtake in the next turns. This should not cause to much trouble because this is not daily playlist so you have to drive clean anyways. We just need some tracks where you have to show patience or great skill to overtake. This gives the qualifying more importance. |

Hey again,
due to complications both in real life and in GTA 5 I unfortunately cannot be in the F1 championship.
Just hours after the Mirrors Edge race, I'm off on vacation. I will not be able to participate in any more races until 1st of August. I thought it'd just be better if a reserve took my place completely, as I miss many of the races. I apoligise for all the inconvenience, but I thank ovivoJR for hosting this championship. And I wish everyone good luck in the races!
Anyway, I had to make it quick, I have other priorities unfortunately.

Hey racers, I am very happy that all of you have put so much effort into their teams. I am optimistic that we will have lots of fun in this championship. There are 9 teams in this 8 races long 2015 Grotti F1 Championship. Unfortunatly dondeef and Mastadi didn´t manage to announce a team, so untill further notice they drop out into reserve driver spots. You two are welcome to sent me a message if you still want to compete in this event. But if there is another team that wants to take the spot I will allow it to join the competition. Our first race will be this Saturday (27.6.15; 7pm GMT +1 (timezone Germany is in at the moment). I will start an invite only session at 18:45/ 6:45pm prior to the race. I will invite everybody that is part of this event. We will meet each other at the parking lot close to the start finish line of Rattlesnake GP. Park your cars next to you teammate. After this meetmypyro will host the race. The race will last one hour. We will have a quick formation lap where endersai will guide us. After this he will form the grid and the race will be started. Qualifying sessions for this race will be Thursday and Friday after the daily playlist around 21:15/9:15 pm. If you cannot participate in those you are free to post a screenshot of your time. I am looking forward to see you on Saturday. Enjoy the race. There are 2 drivers looking for a reserve driver: @hiberg and mrri0es. Let me know if somebody can step in for them. |

I will annouce the pit windows on Thursday after looking at the first qualifying times. I know that the pits are quite small. meetmypyro let me know that Ser Tandur is working on a 100 props version of Rattlesnake, but he has not replied to him. So I might look at the track and make a recreation of it shaping new pits and blocking off the gas station. I will start working on it right now so it will be done by tomorrow so you can test it before the qualifying. If you are behind somebody in the pitlane and he is waiting too long and you realise that you already waited your 20sec, you are allowed to pass the guy infront withoug touching him. If you think your 20sec are over by mistake and you pass him you will get a 20 sec penatly. |

Hi everyone, I just finished the new pits for Rattlesnake. I published the new version of the track so you are free to practice it in the new state ( Grotti F1 Rattlesnake GP). The pit stop has been moved behind the finish line onto the left side. This way the pit entrance and exit is not on the racing line. There is a parking lot with more space than the pit before. The second change is infront of the gas station. I have blocked the gas station just as it is blocked on Blaine County 24h so everybody should be used to it. Other than that there are only some asthetic changes but nothing else. See you at the qualifying. |
