Grotti F1 Monaco Time Of Day News
The sun has decided that it didnt want to participate in this event. It had better places to be.
So the race will be run entirely at night. This also helps with the unfortunate case of the stutters the game has been suffering from. As of yet there is no cure for the games stuttering medical condition. R* doctors are "supposedly" looking into the problem and we hope the game returns to full health soon.
The track is well lit and quite easy to see all corners and barriers.
Everyone should pay attention to brake lights,, as this track is very tight and slow in some sections.

ovivoJR It was late, I had to go, parents were mad... But the race is way earlier, I am definitely able to race the whole thing, and it was just practise for me, I would have let you know I had to leave, but i didn't want to disrupt the silence, let me know if you still want me in.

But the race is way earlier, I am definitely able to race the whole thing, and it was just practise for me, I would have let you know I had to leave, but i didn't want to disrupt the silence, let me know if you still want me in. Hey Dim, don´t be mad at me but I would like to race a bit more with you before I allow you to join the competition. This is quite a difficult race and we put a lot of effort into it to make it work. You didn´t have any time to practice and don´t have a Turismo for the event. 2 things that are kinda mandatory in this competition. So please try to understand my decision. I don´t want to risk any trouble The next race is in 2 weeks. So there is some time to get to know you better if you want to be a constant reserve for this event. Hope this makes my decision more clear to you. |

May I ask for a quick clarification on how the safety car will be used? And for example what the rules are if you hit a barrier and are sent off into another part of the track?
On Monaco, I remember racing and being hit into the barriers on the main straight and flipped over into the traffic that runs in the opposite direction. If that were to happen, what action should I take? Or falling in through the hole in the tight chicane?

As soon as you here the safety car announcment on teamspeak you have to slow down and are not allowed to overtake anymore till the safety car deployes again. So if a crash happens and you here the safety car slow down and stay behind the driver you were before or if you are part of the crash close the gap to the field behind the safety car. The end of the safety car is by endersai who will drive to the side of the track. As soon as he does that the race is open again. If you flip over a barrier and land on another part of the track you are allowed respawn your car. If you are on the racing line pls make sure to move out of the way and then respawn. Other than this situation it is not allowed to respawn the car due to any damage. For this you have to use the pits. Same goes for the hole in the chicane. You are allowed to respawn. If you respawn make sure you dont respawn into oncoming cars. |

drivers can make a call for a safety car. the safety car then enters the track and starts driving in the front. while its on the track, no one is allowed to perform overtakes. it usually stays on the track until it passes the pitlane, since that's where it can properly leave the track. but that's for real life. and it only gets called if at least 4 cars are involved in the incident. but ovivoJR can probably be more precise. calling for a safety car, obviously is for safety purposes in the first place. the race gets 'neutralized', so the area/crashed cars can be cleared. even though you must not overtake, you can still close the gap to the car in front of you. so the call always has a big impact on the actual race. /e: stop hanging out at the forums ovivo |

Quick Racing Calender Information: I just noticed that the 6th Race at Del Perro was the 3rd race in a row. I decided to delay it to August 22nd to have more time for editing, preparation and to have a little pause inbetween.

I have bad news guys. I am not able to participate in the race today. The reason is that a long friend of me who I hadn't seen for years is in the city only for today and he asked if I want so see him. He wanted tu suprise me, so I have heared about it a half an hour ago, so there was no time to mentioned that earlier.
Sorry about that but real life should have higher priority. I hope you guys can understand this.

This race was going quite well for me until the first pit, I had some nice battles with Suzie and Madderose.
There was a mistake made during the first pitstop which caused my car to missfire at times, this was acknowledged(?) afterwards and attempts were made during the second pit but it had no effect. A couple of laps before the finish the car broke down and the race was over.
(Started lagging after the first pit and it became too much in the end so I stopped)
