Grotti F1 Monaco Grand Prix Racing Results: (spreadsheet updated)
The legendary Monaco Grand Prix has found its Champion: ovivoJR (LS Customs). Securing the victory for the first time at this Grand Prix he said the following: "I want to thank the team for giving me such a great car. It is unbelievable to win this race. Unfortunatly my teammate had a engine failure costing us important points for the Constructors Championship. But for know I just want to enjoy the moment". With a consistant drive over 47 laps ovivoJR was able to secure the 2nd win for this season. In the Drivers Championship he is in the lead with 68 points.
In 2nd position we have the young talent arken for the Xero F1 team. After starting in 5th position he fought his way up into 3rd position behind his teammate Renegade1911. With a smart move he allowed arken to go into second position to catch up to the leader. arken managed to close the gap to ovivoJR. After the first pitstop they were battling for the win. arken quoted: " We had the speed to win this race today. I tried to pull of a move in the Mirabeau corner prior to the Grand Casino Hotel but ovivoJR managed to stay ahead on the outside line. In this period I had better speed than him but just before the second pitstop I made a mistake which gave him a comfortable lead till the finish".
In 3rd position Renegade1911 finished the race with a tiny gap behind his teammate. He said: " I was pretty happy with securing the 3rd place. In the end I could have tried a move to get into 2nd position but my race engineer gave me the command MUTLI 21". We asked Renegade1911 about this command but he said it was team intern.
In the Construtors Championship we have Team Xero Motorsports in 1st position creating a 10 points gap to LS Customs. In 3rd position we have Team Auto Exotic (29) and Tequi-la-la (29) on paar. A great drive by the reserve suzied replacing fab. ICEMAN granted him 4th position in the race and therefore 12 points. Congratulations for that. Also Madderose had a great race for the Bolingbroke F1 Team after the engine failure at Mirrors GP.
All in all a very intresting race. I want to thank everybody for participating. The next race will be in 2 weeks at Banham Canyon.

I remember the incident. Was it then when Webber slammed the glass during the press conference? Anyway, by now I think it's pretty apparent that I'm the car 2. And I think I did get within maybe 2 seconds of Arken at the very end, but even if I could make a move, I wouldn't have tried. He needs to stay in the fight for the Championship which I am now effectively out of. Xero Motorsports had a great points day, I'm very happy about that. I still do hope I can steal a race win somewhere this season. Banham Canyon GP might be the place.
